The lead 'double role' characters of Daksh and Pranjaal in Paalkhi (Zee) seem to share an uncanny resemblance to Shah Rukh Khan's dual characters in Paheli.

One of the characters in Paalkhi gets married to the vivacious Palak (Karishma Tanna), only to make his abrupt exit, allowing the clone to step in and become the proxy husband. Adding to the Paheli undercurrent, the male character also wears a Rajasthani turban in the credit-titles footage.

However, actor Abhay Vakil who plays the 'double role' denies a take-off on Paheli. "Except for the double role factor, both are distinctly different stories. There is no bhooth in our serial. The negative and positive look-alike characters in Paalkhi are twin brothers. The first character is mysteriously killed.

Gradually, Palak's character gets attached to the negative character. Then the original returns," explains Vakil. And Palak's character will have to solve the 'kisko apna kahoon' paheli! Whew!

how can pranjal come back i mean didnt they show his face when he died and...........please lemme know

It was so obvious that it was not Pranjal but Daksh was who alive.

Vkil says,the original will come back.How can it be? they have already shown the dead bosy of pranjal,so this can't be true.Unless,in tellydom,the dead can rise 😆

Its Indian Drama anything can happen. 😕
