@Shruthiravi
I also feel the same and had made a post yesterday

Now I know I might sound dilusional and overly optimistic but after watching today's episode I am feeling rather hopeful that SIDDHANT THAKUR is NOT DEAD although he told Shobha that a Siddhant Thakur died a long back but I DO NOT BELIEVE HIM!

And I have my reasons for that.

1. We still don't know what message Shobha got...why she hasn't informed Vikram about it yet ! I think we will get to know about this very very soon

2. We don't know what happened to Mullah Peer...neither Siddhant asked for a proof from Vikram neither he gave a reason for his demand to release him

3. We still don't know whose body that was thrown out of the window

4. We still haven't been given any reason as to why Siddhant turned on being called Siddhant by Afreen but not when she called him Sadiq...writers have not disppointed so far so I hope they give a reason for this particular scene coz it was too poignant to be left out and not explained...why his sub conscious said Lt. SIDDHANT THAKUR everytime he looked in the mirror if Siddhant truely is dead !

5. Imaan told him the very same thing I have been saying for a while now...if Siddhant is truely shown as a traitor then people will start doubting real life P.O.W.s and their confidence on defence forces will weaken...I completely agree with Imaan and I am hoping that this show will not put soliders in bad light and rather make us feel proud of them

6. So far Nikhil Adwani and team have surprised us with shocking twists and turns...and never once hAve they disappointed us...if we look what is happening then story is straight forward..Sid gets to know Hussain's truth and in order to redeem himself dies a martyr...BUT this means they will go the Homeland way and it will be too straightforward and this is not Homeland and there is nothing straight forward about this show !

7. Siddhant was always shown as an intelligent man...he always reasoned with Lala...he knew that Lala was a terrorist...he knew that Jadun who tortured them for 15 years was Lala's man! He was aware that Lala creates terrorists like Yusuf !
How come he trusted Lala so easily after knowing all these things...like I said writers are yet to give a logical explaination for it.

8. I don't know why but Sid's words are still echoing in my head 'Asli plan kya hai ye koi nahi Janta'..so is there still hope left that we still are unaware about his real plan.

9. If Siddhant really turned into Sadiq then afterwards even if he gets killed or dies a martyr it will still be a WIN of Lala...and VIKRAM's defeat as a MENTOR , SHOBHA'S defeat as a SISTER , IMAAN AND SARTAJ'S defeat as friends and fellow soldiers , ROHAN's defeat that he trusted his brave soldier Sid Mamu ,even NAAZ's defeat for putting his life in danger only to bring a terrorist home safely...will any person ever risk his/her life in future to save a P.O.W. like this with a doubt in mind that he might be a terrorist.

10. I still remember Vikram's words that INDIFFERENCE is the key to defeat the enemy and this is exactly what Sid is doing right now.

I may be sounding too hopeful but after tonight's episode anything is possible and I am still keeping my fingers for one final mind blowing twist that will give us back Lt. SIDDHANT THAKUR RAJASTHAN RIFLES INDIAN ARMY.
Still keeping my fingers crossed coz if this is not the case then I would say the writers made a big fool of themselves and Sid's character and turned a great show into a mess !
But I am hoping for a miraculous twist !

Shruthi, loved your post. :)
Nothing can beat those three lines that define Siddhant Thakur.
"Lt.Siddhant Thakur, Rajasthan Rifles, Indian Army"
And I swear I'll love it when this man says it loud and clear once again killing Ibrahim and saving all the civilians taken hostage at the hospital.
Do you feel there actually can be a plan within the master plan? Just like there was a code within the code that helped Sadiq flee from Pakistan.? Because if THAT happens then oh boy! This is going to be a dhamaka. Pure dhamaka.
I am going to trust the makers with what they want to show us.
Too excited and fingers crossed. Siddhant is one extremely special character for me. I hope the writers give him the required justice.

@anshvi you have listed all the points I have noted and that is why my belief is high. I have been saying he is playing on a dangerous threshold. And most important Vik, Shobha, Iman, Sartaj, Naz cannot fail and also Afreen cannot feel used. Both has to be satisfied.

@Sohu I believe there is a plan within the plan. Anshvi has listed the reasons which I also agree to as I have also noted the same points. I have put something similar in your posts too. You read Nikhil Advani's D-Day story. your hopes will increase πŸ˜†πŸ˜†

Yes, somebody had guessed the chances of Hussain being alive based on a picture posted by Parul.

And because of this post only, I didn't get that shock of seeing Hussain alive. This post was always at the back of my mind somehow.

Shruthi,
I really loved reading you. It was just fantastic. I do hope that he is egging on Iman and Sartaj to come to the rescue. He does have some valid points which we cannot deny. If you switch on New CHannels today, Martyred Jawans are just numbers, no names aslo given sometimes. Who does really bother to go and see how the family of the Jawans fare. They come as scroll at the bottom of the screen. How long can we give in to their demands, and let all the top terrorists disappear?

I do hope people seeing this show will learn something and something constructive is done about the Jawan family1s Rehabilitation.

I do hope as you predicted that he is just Sid playing and giving back to Lala.

@anu what Sid said is true. 13 people ( correct me if I am wrong) martyred their life to stop the symbol of our democracy is not attacked. And what is happening now. The person who was part of the plan Afsal Guru in his name speeches are conducted and we are telling FOS. Do we even realize what the martyr family feels. Many come from poor families.
In the name of peace we let go off terrorists like Hafeez Saeed for whom blood of martyrs have flowed. How long you take orders. If you look what happened to Sid was also the result of taking an order despite his own instinct it was a ploy.
Yes we need discipline but do we need worship. When will we learn elders can go wrong, parents can go wrong, teachers can go wrong. Experience is something, but it is not everything. At times you have to break rules for the larger good. Because terrorists dont play by book.
