Viji,
One can say the same thing about the school in Peshawar.
He knows that there will be casualties on both sides. But his maqsad is bigger than even his closest people. Ibrahim died yesterday... that guy who was Sadiq's right hand man, and he died a benami maut, with no one probably even to bury him. I guess some will die on the Indian side too.
So don't focus on which place it is in the long run if humans are going to die, it really does not matter if it is hospital or a pub. Place is not as important as the people is it? ... Focus on the massive foreshadowing that the script writers and Director has done in the last couple of episodes. Remember Veera telling Sartaj when she hands him the guru granth sahib and says - kucch accha hona hai, jo hota hai usmein rab ki rajamandi hoti hai.
That was not spiritual mumbo jumbo that she was preaching. Director was giving a hint to the audience, is what I feel.
See as human beings who always live in fear, we are so accustomed to immediately latch on to what appears negative to us. But most often than not, the fear is just an opportunity for us to shine. If there is anyone who understands that paradigm, it is Siddhant. I believe he is not going to be Sadiq, even Afreen understands that in the heart of her hearts... that is why when she has to appeal to him in anyway she always calls him Siddhant, and not Sadiq.
Shobha's love for her brother is not misplaced, it will shine bright in the end is what I feel ... its just muddled at the moment by all of Sadiq's plans, which he is not revealing to anyone, not even to Ibrahim sheikh.
Some clues from yesterday and today's episode that struck me as massive foreshadowing for the future:
- The fact that Sadiq was angry with Ibrahim for killing that man in Thadani's office as soon as he entered it. He does not want people to die unnecessarily... and if that is the case, then he has chosen the hospital for a reason. If anybody gets hurt, at least you have doctors and specialists at hand.
- The fact that the terrorist at the hospital let a doctor look at Harleen on Sartaj's insistence. Which terrorist does that? They are doctrined to only kill, they couldn't care less about who is dying.- Its all dhamaka and no actual casualty (remember Sid telling Yusuf, - Sadiq jab kucch karta hai toh woh dhamaka hota hai), The Police commissioner tells Vikram Singh, there are no casualties so far in the hospital, only an explosion.
- Vikram Singh biding his time with Sid. He knows that guy, and he refuses to call him Sadiq even when Siddhant says Salaamwalekum and introduces himself as Sadiq. Must give it to Vikram Singh, he is not yet calling Sid a terrorist, master mind yes, but not a terrorist mastermind. He could be a mastermind of a more sinister plan, than we all can see.

Having said that, I will say this Viji, is that take your cue from the way he saluted the Indian flag when he landed in Gujarat. That was not a mockery. He may have used it to make a point with Govind Mehta, but he had genuine emotion for his motherland in his heart when he saluted at the flag.
Also another thing that gives me hope... is the fact that they showed the montages of when he met Shobha for the first time after his return. If there is one thing that is the absolute truth in all this chaos, it is his love for his sister. Go watch his face, in those shots... the emotions that crosses his face, are not just about him returning back to his sister after a long time, but also about what he is going to put her through, when he puts his plans into action.
And that is the thing, that makes me feel... the game is bigger than just a Pakistan-India covert war. And I can't wait to find out what!
