I have been a silent member of this forum but a huge fan of POW. I have to admit that I stopped watching POW in the phase when Sartaj and Iman were being blackmailed by Lala. But I was hooked onto the show again with the entry of Lt. Siddhanth Thakur, Rajasthan Rifles. He epitomised the ideal Indian soldier. His relationship with his sister and with Vikram was super endearing. And his unrelenting efforts to become frineds with Iman and Sartaj in captivity was heartbreaking.
I particularly loved how he introduced humself to Naaz in Karachi: Lt. Siddhanth Thakur, Rajasthan Rifles. In the last week, I was hoping against hope that Sid is alive and Sadiq is a facade. But my hopes were dashed by today's episode. I don't thhink that all soldiers (Indian or otherwise) are perfect. But I had so much love for the character of Siddhanth Thakur that it was heartbreaking to accept that he had turned.

I can't imagine what SHobha will feel when she learns about Sadiq. My personal way of dealing with the storyline is to treat Sid and Sadiq as two different people.

RIP Sid - an exemplary solider, a loving brother who would have definitely made a great Mamu, a supportive brother-in-law and a loyal friend. RIP Lt. Siddhanth Thakur, Rajasthan Rifles

What should I say... Still can't understand the head or tail of his transformation...

A story like POW should convey something ... Yes, the show was good.. It retained drama, entertainment and suspense till the very end, but I seriously don't know what should I conclude at the end of this story...

If they wanted to show tht a soldier can also turn into a traitor, then also it required a good reason for that...

His own life in danger was not the reason..
Sartaj choosing Imaan was not the reason..
15 years of extreme torture was not the reason..

Suddenly Hussain becomes the reason and even if he does then how ?? How will killing innocent people help him avenge Hussain's death.. ??
Killing someone will always have some illogical reason only.. But they haven't even shown that illogical reason for turning him.. What was there in his mind .. What made him do so ?? I can't comprehend him... 😭 😭 😭 😭

I can't believe he is the same soldier who saluted the Indian flag upon his return to India.
I am heartbroken! 😭
