Now it all depends on people's perspective .

rightly said anshvi. I am feeling betrayed after watching the episode. When Sid came back I felt he is my brother who came back after so many years.
But now I have hatred for him.

by the way it was really funny to see the treatment given to Afreen and yusuf as soon as sod carried out the plan.
Afreen will soon be treated similarly and will run towards India. But why?
-to save Sid
-or to save herself??

Yup...I feel sorry for him rather than hatred
My disappointment is with the writers
The conversion can happen to the most educated but here we are talking about the trained soldier, a man who even after 15 years of torture had humanity and principles.
He was the same guy who argued with Lala that 'Sartaj nahi marta agar apka khel na hota' 'Maine bhi Imaan Sir ko chuna tha '
He was the same man who was loving that he bonded with a stager kid and his death tore him apart
He was the same man who asked Yusuf to rather shoot him than shooting an innoent man
He was the same man who asked Ibrahim to not cause any bloodshed and let Yusuf come in.
This man even after getting tortured for 15 years and living with Lala for 2 years had his humanity intact..coz an inhuman Jehadi would have behaved like Yusuf who will not flinch before killing a Maulvi or even an unborn Child...he is a heartless, brainwashed Jehadi
If Sadiq was a brainwashed Jehadi then he should have been shown as a cold , emotionless man who could have killed anyone to achieve hie MAKSAD
A man who was willing to put his line on the line for a random stranger , who loved a child , who avoided any bloodshed , is this how a brainwashed Jehadi would behave ?
And then all of a sudden he has emerged like a brainwashed Jehadi talking about his so called Maksad.

In my opinion this conversion makes no sense.
IF the writers wanted to take a bold step and wanted to show reality then they should have done it in a logical way.
They could have given a strong reason for Sid's conversion
They should have shown that Sadiq was different from Sid...he should have been cold and emotionless towards other humans.
They should have shown that his mind had been completely brainwashed and all he cares about is completion of his mission.
Why a Jehadi will care if a stranger dies , why a Jehadi will avoid any kind of blood shed , why a Jehadi will cry on hugging his own sister.

This could have been a bold step if they had depicted it sensibly
What they have done is created a senseless mess in my opinion

I'm so disappointed with the cvs. They havent been able to give a proper reason behind Sid's behaviour. And no, Hussain ki maut ka inteqam reason is not strong enough for someone like Sid to turn into a hardcore jihadi, a brave Indian soldier who had gone through atrocities at the hand of the very nation he's defending today. Just for a boy who was not related to him in any way; forgetting about his own country & family. Yes a person can be brainwashed and all. But there has to be something concrete behind that. Chalo had it been Afreen in place of Hussain, tab bhi samajh me aata. 15 years of captivity in the Pak jails didnt change him but few years with Lala and he got brainwashed? He's the same guy who apprehended Ibrahim for unecessarily shooting a man. He's the same guy who stood infront of Yusuf so that he cant kill an innocent man. He's the same guy who didnt listen to Afreen when she kept calling him Sadiq but did when she called him Siddhant. How can he plan something so heinous? I was hoping against all hope ki woh naa ho behind the hospital attack. But... :( I still want to be proved wrong. Maybe just for Shobha's sake? I cant imagine what she'll be going through after knowing the truth. She waited for so many years for her beloved little brother. Wapas aaya bhi toh aise? Is se achha toh aata hi nahi. Atleast she would have lived happily with the sense of pride that her brother was a brave soldier who sacrificed everything for his motherland. Now she'll have to watch him die as a traitor :(

Keeping whatever is being shown aside, I have few question which my optimistic self is pondering over :P
1) What message did Shobha get? She went blank after that. Had all the flashbacks of Sid and then panicked a bit. Called Vikram immediately. I'm hoping its something positive :(
2) Why did the terrorists leave Sartaj after recognising him as one of the POW? Shouldnt they be killing him at once?
3) Why did they allow doctor to check on Harleen? They should have left her to die no? Unless there was clear instruction from Sid that there should be no civilian casualty. And if so, why?
4) Can it be that Sid got to know about ISI capturing Afreen and he's doing all this only to save her. Or they would have killed her if Sadiq had failed to do anything? I know, it doesnt make sense :(

P.S. Afreen is such a dumb woman -_- All this while she hid Sadiq's truth from everybody for reason best known to her. And suddenly revealed it when Yusuf was gonna stab her. Scared of dying? I felt like smashing her face when she was laughing watching the news about attacks in India :x What a sadist! Guess we know the future of her unborn child!

P.P.S. Can I say how hot Anurag is? He made me forget Sid's treachery for a while *_* I dont know how does he do it! His phone convo with Vikram takes the cake. Ohh that deep baritone & cold-blooded eyes. Enough to send shivers down the spine. Damn!

I am ok with them showing a patriotic Indian soldier turning against the country due to brain washing..Coz that can happen
The problem here is that the premise is not enough to show a smart person like Sid turning..I for the life of me can't understand why a man like him would fall for some random claims that thadanis (Indians) were involved in Peshawar attacks when he knows that they love to blame India at drop of hat..
Yes he loved Hussain..But so much that he lost his capacity to think and became a jehadi himself
That's too far fetched to believe..If they had executed it nicely it might have been accepted far better than it is being accepted now

I hope they stick for their stand now..Coz more disappointing than what has already transpired would be going for a cop out of forgiving Sid (when he sees the light or has a change of heart) or some half baked redemption
He needs to punished ..PERIOD

Sartaj continues to bore πŸ₯±
Imaan in action 😳

Did anyone feel like the Saturday episode dragged? Like, by the end, we were pretty much where we left off Friday.
