Climax of such a strong script needs to be even more powerful... Dnt know what the writers will show...🥺

Oh yes I totally forgot about this scene...Yes he was willing to die for a stranger...This shows that even at that time he had humanity...Also remember how he turned only when he was called Siddhant by Afreen while he paid no attention when called Sadiq repeatedly by Afreen.

What was the point of this scene. ??????

But I stand by the idea that Sadiq is driven by his heart. Not yours, not mine, but his. He feels differently and acts differently than we would. The place that Afreen and Hussain hold in his heart at this point is miles above the place that his Indian relations hold. That's the point. If his actions were not justified to him, he would not be Sadiq, and he would not be doing what he's doing right now. Taking away his justification removes the entire character.

Also, he is no longer Sid. While pieces of Sid remain, the person we're dealing with right now is Sadiq. So we can't expect him to act like Sid.

See if we say that for him Afreen is above Shobha then it means that heart felt re-union of Shobha and Sid meant nothing to him ??? it was meaningless??

This is not how relations work...We don't weigh or compare love.

And even as Sadiq he had humanity...Like @Fragrance pointed out when Yusuf came and was trying to shoot innocent people at the dargah..Sadiq intervened and said "KISI BEGUNAH KO MAARNE SE ACCHA HAI TU MUJHPE GOLI CHALA" This proves that even as Sadiq he was very much a loving person !

So, even Sadiq was not shown as a heartless person.

And that is why it is hard for me to digest that a man like him can attack innocent people...so I am still holding on to hope that there might be a final twist in the tale and Sadiq did not cause that attack but if this is not the case then as I said WRITERS HAVE MESSED IT UP BIG TIME
