Sid or Sadiq, God knows what he is thinking... Imaan is a smart man too. Sid/Sadiq definitely seems to have an upper hand right now but it will not be easy for him to dodge Vikram, Imaan and Sarta combined..

Afreen - Sid scene was really so so beautiful.. Apart with destiny, united at heart... Even before she spoke, he understood it was Afreen. They didn't need to speak much ... Their silence conveyed their feelings to each other... Just a lil covo they had about each other's well being.

Flashback gave us a quick revision of Sadiq's plan which he had made while he was in Pakistan..πŸ˜† But at that time he had nullified his plan by saying " Asli plan Koi nahin jaanta". So going by that at least killing off Thadani should not be the only or the real plan...

This character Sid / Sadiq makes us feel so many emotions

Technically if he is a terrorist, we should hate him.. But its hard to hate him.. We love to love him .. Do the writers of his character really want us to hate him ?? 😲

Great reviews, guys.. Loved them.. πŸ‘πŸΌ

She said she was talking to her "boyfriend"

And he goes all like Aaahhh.

He is new to this custom of girlfriend, boyfriend. Which probably wasnt the case 17 years back. He is tied by societal norms. And we must not forget, he has spent three years of his life in Pakistan, and even gotten married to the girl he loved. He married her. It wasn't an unofficial relationship.

Similarly when Shobha says they hadn't gotten married, he is surprised and is not able to digest it normally. And his repeated questioning of their status, was simply because he wasnt accustomed to such a change.

So that's why i think the Shaira scene plays an important role, where he learns that this is something that happens and he is quite surprised by it. The Aaah actually meant his surprise at such societal change.

What a thought.. It can be..
N we were confused not just bcz of his expressions. But also bcz of the background music..πŸ˜‰ Each music is just so killer. Gives a different perspective to a scene..

Well girls this is just my thoughts and opinions so I hope you all don't get mad at me😳

Well as far as we talk about this week's episodes they totally indicated that he is Sadiq specially today's episode , but as we all know that this show has been full of surprises , maybe the makers want us to hate Sid but will suddenly drop a bomb on us by showing that Sid has always been A true Indian soldier and whatever he was doing was to protect his country and the people he loves across the border.
As we saw that the Mosque guy was referring him as Sadiq so maybe he is doing all this to make the terrorist (who are already in India ) believe him that he is back just to kill Mr Thadani and all the things he is doing in the favor of India is just to take them into confidence. He knows that the sleeper cells in India are activated and he needs to control them and this is the best way to do it and by doing this he can even save his Indian family and Pakistani family which is Afreen & Ibrahim , as if the terrorist get to know that he is back to destroy them the will kill his family. And I think that's the only reason he is giving hints to Sartaj so that he doubt's him and this will make the terrorists to trust him more which is happening.

Now coming to Afreen & Ibrahim. Sid already informed them about the surgical strike that was going to happen so that they were safe and after today's episode it's clear that , that mosque guy knew about the surgical strike so this step made them believe that Sid is Sadiq and on the other hand he was able to save Afreen & Ibrahim.

Now as far as I think he will call Afreen & Ibrahim to India as he has taken the terrorist in his confidence so they won't harm them when they come to India . And when Afreen & Ibrahim will be in India he will make them realize that Jaish is a terrorist group that has always killed innocent people like Hussain , and he will do this while making them believe that he is doing all this in the favor of Jaish and then maybe Afreen will stop him and tell him to favor his country.

Well as we saw that he is hell bent over Sobha & Vikarm to get married and stay together as I think he wants that there is are security personnel always around Sobha and Rohan and it may not be possible as Sobha is not yet Vikram's wife so they may not give her that tight security.

And its time to discuss about the precap.

Sid was trying to scare Ronan and then even slammed his family drawing , I think maybe its because he doesn't wants Rohan to get much attached to him because somewhere down the line he knows whatever he is doing is extremely dangerous and it can even cost him his life so he doesn't wants Rohan to go through the pain that he went through when Hussain died. And he may have slammed the family drawing because he was either not expecting himself to be in that because he doesnt wants Rohan to get attached to him or he wanted Afreen to be in that too.
And as far as him keeping an eye on Imaan , I think its just a plan to take the terrorist into confidence.

What do you all think????

I think that Shaira- Sid scene was to confuse the viewers, to put a doubt in viewers' mind. It eas sort of a red herring I believe
Sid is not someone who is of orthodox mentality.
The Sid of 17 years ago was quite modern..he flirted with the officer's daughter.
And he himself was the one who hooked up Shobha and Vikram.
He was the one who used to sneek out late night for parties...Btw that scene was super cute...Anurag looked adorable in itπŸ˜†
And even in Pak I m sure Sid-Afreen was a love marriage (ofcourse lala would have given his blessings) πŸ˜†
And Shobha and Sid's upbringing appears to be quite modern and liberal...the way they behave wig each other and their thinking suggests the same.
M sure makers wanted to make d viewers super confused...they should know we already are super confused and they need not put in extra efforts to confuse the already confused fans πŸ˜†

I LOVED how you have articulated this in your post. I had the exact same feeling about Sidhanth when I first thought he was acting as a moral police but later thought that he might have adopted the Pakistani conservative approach and is just trying to figure out relationship statuses and societial norms of the day. He should have met Iman much earlier...this guy was liberal then and super cool even after nearly 2 decades πŸ‘πŸΌ

Should I love Sadiq for loving Afreen so deeply and truely or should I hate Siddhant for his mysterious activities ?

Ibrahim is a sweetheart. He got the message of the surgical strike even before it happened from the guy at the dargah. So this guy is an informant. He refers to Siddhant as Sadiq, and he is clicking pictures of Imaan, as proof that Imaan is coming to the dargah in search on Sadiq. Implying, Imaan has an eye for Siddhant.

I am happy, Vikram has started being a little curious about Siddhant. I just hope Imaan and Sartaj talk to him once about all this. Then it shall be much easier.

Coming to the highlight and the best part of the episode.. Yeh Ishq Hawa hai !! ❀️
The background music was so aptly placed, "Sau koshishen karo, honge na hum judaa" PERFECT !!
Loved the dialogues and mainly Ibrahim. He probably fills the void Hussain has left behind. He takes care of his Aapa so well, I am beginning to love him. He understands both of them so well.
And poor Afreen, she has literally lost all her family memebers including Ammi and Yusuf ( I think ). Now all she has is Ibrahim.

Now the reason to the Title of the post. Should I be happy ?

Should I be happy coz Sadiq truely loves Afreen ? I dont know what to say. Fourteen years of only torture, and then this angelic girl comes into his life, who loves him truly and purely. And respects every decision of his and is always by him and has complete faith in him. After Fourteen years, he has found someone humane, with emotions. 14 years is a really long time to have your memories with your sister sublime. After so many years of ruthlessness he has found love. And I think thats why he guards it more than ever and is ready to do anything for that love and affection. Coz after fourteen years, Afreen was his present. And he was involved in the relationship and he totally loves her, probably even more than his sister.

Now, after today's episode, I feel his love for Afreen is more than his love for his sister. Because 17 years is a really long time. Is a VERY LONG time. For how long would he have been able to just survive with the memories, something imaginery, something sublime. The minute he found love, he held on to it. Coz that was something stable. That was something that could actually help him come out of all his pain.

But now the question arises, should I really be happy he loves Afreen truly, as he cries in her remembrance and the moment he was told they are going to be parents and again the entire flashback plays in front of him. Should I really be happy for him being truthful to his love, or should I despise him for playing games with people who were once his family ?

I just loved the flow of words in your post...says every word of what I felt watching the show except for ANY sympathies for Sidhanth-Afreen (Never thought my Indian blood will boil at 400 degree!) πŸ˜•

@ Pink

Firstly, I loved what you just said about Sadiq living only with Sid-Shobha memories Vs a chance of having his own family in blood and flesh and in the present moment. Well written. πŸ‘

Now having said that, what I am unable to fathom is the 'maksad' Sadiq keeps talking about! If he was just a man in love, I could SO understand him but this guy is a mastermind! The only person I am concerned about is Shobha because in all this especially after reaching a stage of hallucinations, this lady will be ruined if Sid remains Sadiq till the end.

I have 2 questions here about the show especially after tonight

1. How come Sidhanth isn't interrogated at all (only because he killed Lala and gave terror camps addresses?) How come no one is asking how he could access such sensitive and confidential information. The manner in which he shot Lala...would make for 10000 Bollywood movies!!!! Why no one is asking, including Shobha and Vikram. No offficial or even family level Q&A.

2. Did Sidhanth vent his frustration on Rohan's family drawing?? Is he really bugged at Vikram for being his future 'raaste ka kaanta?'

ALL POWER TO VIKRAM...I ONLY have FAITH in HIM! Everyone else can take the hike esp the love birds of Jaish 🀒

i think I am the only one who doesn't feel anything about Sid and Afreen. I don't know why but I don't sympathise with them. afreen lost everyone and everything she could call her own still don't feel bad for her.
whenever they show Sid thinking about her it reminds me of Shobha's hallucinations.

whenever he remembers Hussain I think of Salim's death.

i don't know why but I am unable to relate with their love story.

Count me in! Contrary to popular mood of the forum, I felt sick in my stomach seeing that scene which is so unlike the emotional fool in me. πŸ˜•
