This is written by a diehard P.O.W fan (me😆) and I believe, this serial was the best serial till date👏.
The Title Montage:
Though now we have a different montage, I loved the old one. It gave out a sneak-peak of the entire story, without really revealing it. The expressions of the main characters didn't give out much, but the dark background helped in telling us that this serial is different.
The Background Scores:
I love all the background scores of this serial and play them as my "Favorite Playlist" Many serials have their own songs, no doubt, but no background score can emote out the pain like "Raahiyan Ve" does. "Yeh Ishq Hawa Hai" is magic. Period.
The Cast and Crew
Hats of to the producers for choosing this cast. Many serials don't really have "that" good cast, and if they even do have one, the serials fail o click with the audience. But, P.O.W (as I stated earlier) is different. With each character having a different shade, the actor makes sure that he does justice to the role.
The Creative
Each character has his/her costume to match his/her personality. Nazneen, who is portrayed as a celebrity, always slays it off in her simple yet class costumes, while Harleen takes the "Punjabi kudi" look to another level. I love Shayaara's costumes. The locations also are chosen perfectly to add to the beauty of the scene.
Bloopers
Unlike other serials, I really fail to find bloopers in the show. The CVs don't forget what they had shown in the past and don't mess up the story with a stupid track.
Dialogues
The dialogues are bang on! Some dialogues aren't just dialogues, they are a message. Many times we see someone lecturing about issues in serials, but in P.O.W that isn't needed. The dialogue writing is so apt, that in a few words, the whole message is brought out and strikes a chord with the audience. Be it Sartaj's "Tu aurat hai, isiliye tyaag nahi karegi" or Lala's "Pyaar ki yahin khami hai, duriyan bardaasht nahi kar pata" both the dialogues force us to think of them.
Change in Attitude
Many serials try to portray a change in the attitude of some character and fail, unlike P.O.W. Be it Vikram or Shaayara, we see a change in them and don't find it drastic or stupid. The dynamics of Vikram and Shobha's relationship had seen slow yet beautiful change and so did Harleen-Sartaj's married life.
