From Siddhant he became Saidiq then became Siddhant then again flipped to Sadiq and now we are wishing him to become Siddhant again... 😲 😆
Even I am sure that Sid(and not Sadiq) is doing it all intentionally, because he clearly assured it to himself, that Sartaj has paid full attention about him knowing about the accident and also him washing hands!!!!
And as for him reading Namaz in his room, he was a nastik anyways when he was a Hindu, and may be he is doing it so that he feels he is near to Afreen, or may be asking for Afreen's safety from her God, because he knows that after believing that Sid didn't kill her dad...she will not keep quite!!!!

And about the namaaz, let's not forget even Iman AND SARTAJ did it when they hit back from PAK. (Iman apparently never did it before that according to Mrs Khan, and Sartaj doing it makes it look like this was his and Iman's way of keeping a connection with god, so maybe it's the same for Sid, along with the Afreen waala reason you gave)
