...

As stated by my friend , Jaish means a Terrorist Group/Organization .

Even If I take that Sid became a Jehadi ... bt what made him do that ??
He finds solace in Quran , but Quran doesn't teach that ...
Also if we consider , He is baised towards Lala and his Family but still planning and plotting against his own country that too by a Soldier for this Reason , is pretty lame.

He wants to kidnap 2 kids of an industrialist of India. Someone similar to let us say Adani, Ambani etc.
I am kind of knowing his plan, but let me see if the story goes that way. First the question has Sid really turned. Does taking up a new religion guarantee that. Does peeling off the uniform take your core. I guess for Lala the outer appearance is enough. Or rather physical transformation. The whole idea of war happens for physical assets wealth and power while you destroy the real wealth of relations and lose the real power of trust.

Now Sid is telling to cut the blood vein of India, the economy which is funded by industrialist. I expected it to be IT, but then they have gone for an industrialist. Yes the attack on Mumbai mattered in 2008 because it was the economic capital of India. Infosys is given CRPF security because the threat level for such companies are high as attacking them means attacking the fundamentals of India. Our democratic set up. Our secular credentials.

Sadiq is the physical part, but for me he is still Siddant emotionally. πŸ˜ƒ. But for Siddant to prove the Siddant to another country, he has to travel their pathπŸ˜ƒ

I'm in the line as well!! His transformation is quite baffling πŸ˜†

The only reason as of now that they've shown was Hussein's death, he later converted to Islam. That part was okay. But then how do you take away someone's love for his country?? Don't get me wrong but the guy survived 15 years of torture ans still kept yelling "India India". He had immense love for his motherland. I don't think it can be overshadowed to that extent by his love for Hussein. His frustration on seeing Shobha and Vikram on the TV screen and then shattering the glass only goes on to show that he still hasn't forgotten them.

I agree Sartaj betrayed him, but even he understood the reason, Sartaj was always closer to Imaan, they survived years of torture together and grew closer. Also Imaan had a higher rank than Sid, Sartaj chose to save Imaan that unfortunate day.

Now we see a guy, hell bent on destroying the very place he called home. And not just destroy he wants to handicap it globally.

So what I absolutely don't get is what the hell happened in that house?? What broke him, that 15 years of torture couldn't?

Afreen's dialogue, "koi gehra zakhm/dukh hai jo chupa rahe hai"
is that zakh/dukh has to do something?

Sid's transformation is really unconvincing, firstly they should have given proper time to it .. believing yousaf doesnt make sense and i even dont think sartaj betrayed sid .. its like didnt sid himself want to die?

Rest for Jaish, its not ISI .. Jaish is shown as a terrorist extremist group like Taliban or al Qaieda .. Who operate independently .. because no way in hell can an ISI meeting take place in soneone's couryard .. and the leader is not chosen like they showed .. its a terrorist group that is shown ..

And for Quran .. i dont think they have shown Sid to take inspiration for his fight from Quran .. that was a link of Hussain and for him it matters only that i guess ..

I can clearly see a lot of people confused and not convinced by Siddhant to Sadiq transformation. To all of you, I present my POV.
Firstly, I really dont think Siddhant has changed. or turned in. He could be externally calm, composed, and physically looking one among them, but internally a huge storm must be going inside him.

Reasons

After years of torture, he has found a home, he has found love and affection in the form of Afreen and Hussain. Someone who want him, who make him feel important and love him alot.

The Peshawar attacks. It wasnt on any industry or any place where adults would be. The attacks happened to a school. No person sane or insane, would attack children. It would have been really tough for Sid to understand the situation. On one side he has lost Hussain whom he deeply loves and on the other side he is kept in front of the fact that his countrymen attacked a school on purpose. It is really tough to fathom the situation. It is difficult for Sid to understand why would HIS COUNTRY do that with kids, and do not forget he has lost someone he loved.

Also, the fact that he does not want to kill anybody from his country but wants to directly just attack the economy of the country. This shows his non violent side, and also shows he does not want to kill his people.

Mainly also, the difference in Siddhant and Sadiq. Siddhant was polite, jovial and outspoken. But Sadiq seems to me very quiet and within himself. I do not think he has opened up, even to Afreen. He has a lot of things kept deep inside him, which he is not letting out.

After Hussain'd death, he could have found solace in the gift Hussain gave him. And similar to Imaan, he too must have begun believing in God. I dont think it had any ulterior motive, than just helping him find a peaceful path.

Another MAJOR MAJOR point is that, Lala every now and then emphasizes the fact that he trusts Sadiq. And to a truthful and self conscious man, no matter who the other one is, he would not indulge in infidelity. With Lala, nursing him back to life, and (forcefully and repeatedly) telling Sid that he trusts him, puts Sid in a very tough situation, where now it is a fight of his conscience. Where he just cant out rightly break the trust of a family. He has Lala's burden of trust on him.

One more point. Its been two years. And regularly being with the man who saved his life and being told that Sartaj did not choose him but chose Imaan, he could easily begin to feel it to be true. Even though he was well aware of the situation, and he himself said that it wasnt Sartaj's fault, but if he is continuosly told something, then he could surely come to believe it, or over here he could have actually started contemplating it as I wouldnt say he believed the rejection.

So these are some reasons why I feel, he hasnt converted, but is actually in a storm within himself.
