Hi Dear...
First Let me introduce myself a little... This is Swarna from Hyderabad...
and May I know your name π
Thanks a lot for briefing me about episode...
I got it...
then why I asked instead f simply going to hotstar...
Sorry I didnt think of that option..
- Usually when I skip an episode, I read written updates so tht I wouldn't miss what was going on...And for last night's episode, I couldn't find episode update, so I asked you guys, hoping some one will tell me
- Whenever I missed watching tv, I don't go to hotstar, I can't afford to sit n watch for 20 more minutes, if it is written updates I can read in max 3 minutes... Not that my time tooo important, I prefer written form than Vds...usually, less time, easy way..if I think its too good to miss, I ll watch it on hotstar rarely...
- I m an active user of IF, so thought its better to ask than to bear whole episode in hotstar r than inquiring about repeat telecast... I don't think its that interesting not to miss...IF tho, anyways I will check it time to time..then why not asking :) Any ways, sometimes, there might be chances that I may get good friends alsoπ whom I couldn't get on hotstar!! selfish me...
Last but not least... whats up with those "quotes"?? I am not able to understand the reason behind using many of them... Sorry if I didn't reach your knowledge level...π
Hello! First of all, Apologies on my behalf for delaying this reply (in case you might've really 'got concerned' π). Oh, so you're from Hyderabad?!! Lucky-You...!!! You must be 'enjoying' pleasant-weather there and here, we're shivering in this daily ice-cold weather nowadays in North, believe it or not, but 'Thanks' to our proximity to the Himalayas, we certainly 'enjoy' winters the most!!! π (Although, as a matter of fact/'honesty', at least we're getting full-sunlight since past 3 consecutive-days. 'Hattrick', huh...?? π)
Now coming to your first-question (literally), hmm... The name?! While I may seem like a 'crazy'/'maniac'/'psychotic' or whatever else, but someone [subtly] asked me in the same manner as yours in this very-forum itself a couple of weeks ago and 'unsurprisingly', I took ['literally'] months to revert back. So, I would like you to
have a look at that response to [most-probably] get [to] the answer of your question, I think it's little-interesting given there are very few, if any, who prefer to set their usernames on IF in that simple-manner. I still do realise I may appear as either 'arrogant', 'self-obsessed', 'delusional' or 'stupid' to type that long rather simply giving you the answer upfront but I just thought that it might be better to refer you there as apart from reading the first-para[graph] which is necessary-to-read, anything else may catch your attention there and since you're willing to learn about me, I thought that's a 'good-'way for introduction rather going the usual-way of starting from divulging your name to 'little-something' about your life including hobbies (if any π) to concluding by stating the reason of why you're interested in the show [on IF's forum]. Since how I communicate with others may give you a better-idea about me than what I proclaim to be. Since it's said that: "Your actions speak louder than words". While there's no possible way to distinguish between one's actions and words here (π), but if someone is really behaving honestly, without any 'fear', then at least his/her behaviour can be judged [somewhat-]accurately (varies upon person-to-person, how did they interpreted your words i.e. how's their own psyche, including effects of prejudices and biases playing role in their judgement). π³
Mention not [for gratitude in return of my contribution]. π And it was indeed my 'luck' that you got my 'instantaneously-'typed response accurately.* {Phew...} π
Now coming to my response for your-answers-to-my-single-question:
- Mm-hmm... That's fine. Oh, so you too really on "Google Baba" to search for "updates" or have you already/just 'bookmarked' some websites? π€
- But my perspective differs a little because most of the commonly-found "WUs" are inaccurate to an extent that either they steer the narrative away to some other direction or simply confusing. I hope you have read my elaborate-response on that in this forum itself and I don't have to 'propagate' my views again (by linking to another of my posts). π³ π I'm sure had you watched the episode or found an "update" from some other, more-reliable source then you must've found inconsistencies in my very-"update" itself but didn't 'performed-the-dissection' so I don't feel bad (it's obvious since it was you who asked for the "help" at the time and I was one of those who chipped-in their efforts and time to react accordingly so you'll obviously be concerned about my emotions 'more-than-normal').
- Hahahaha... I understand...!!! π
Now 'here goes the "Boom!"', okay I'll try to answer but please understand that it may lengthen this post even-longer (though I'll try shortening it if deemed necessary):
Actually, couple-of-reasons:
- First of all, you must be watching the news-media, especially the "Electronic-Media" since at least a decade? Or at least have noticed that most of the outlets usually hop on the "tabloid-"format to report "news", especially when they have to attract ratings/readership/hits (when it comes to online-media), so when they use such a term which usage in the context might be considered that strong-enough to create a controversy, they simply say it (read: display it) anyways but with the usage of punctuation/quotation marks. Thankfully, they still bear at least some of journalistic-values left so they also use such symbols to indicate the gesture of a speaker if [s]he have clearly indicated it while quoting his/her words.
- You said you're a regular on IF and after noticing your joining-date, I guess it's safe to assume you must've your share of experiences with it. So you might've noticed there are 'some' significant-drawbacks (well, others may disagree but I'll remain adamant unless rationally-proven wrong) of this site, one of them is character-restrictions! You can't type special-characters like intellectual-property symbols, object-symbols or basically anything which has now even been converted to standard-"Emojis" (the Unicode standard, think of it as the most-common language-scripts guidelines for computer-systems/"computing"). What's more? You can't even type special alphabetical-characters used in contemporary-scripts of several [modern] European-languages. π³
- So those quotations I use have different meanings, depending upon the context of their usages. To sum-it-up once-and-for-all (I literally mean it, I may refer someone else to here if [s]he raised the question of such nature or even made some remarks of that nature in future):
- When I use double-quotations (""), it means: A) I'm simply quoting someone else's words or some common-reference. B) If I used it for ranging from a single-term to even a short-phrase, that'll most-likely mean that I'm using wordings learnt from someone else as part of my speech and therefore, I shouldn't be held completely-liable for it since I didn't confirmed its definition[s] or primary use-cases. Though in the case of latter (short-phrases), occasionally it may be the case that I'm indeed quoting something but it's that short that I can't unnecessarily extend it to make it look like a proper-quote (dependent on various factors). In such cases, I may use colon/ratio (:) symbol to indicate that but that's 'not a rule'. So it's advisable for someone to ask for himself/herself if such use-case[s] is/are causing confusion[s].
- For singular-quotations ('), as I already cited news media's usage-case above, often, I use it for saying something which I might've felt but didn't literally "mean it". Think of it as a short-way of disclaimer, since I don't want to use "No offence...", "No offence [for <this-and-that>]" over-and-over-and-over, just because I thought of saying something really-honest! Consider it as my own-way to disclaim in the shortest-manner possible. Also, I may use it for specific-terms which may not primarily-meant-what-I-intended-to-convey so looking-up thesaurus[es], or most-easily, clarifying it directly from myself is advised.
- At some cases, the usage of singular-quotations may look "weird" due to their usages on terms which express contrasting tones/sentiments from/on the rest/most of what-I-expressed in any given post, then it's advised to clearly evaluate whether what I said in quotations could be interpreted as "negative" when I generally said something-"positive" in my post and vice-versa, and if that's indeed believed to be the case, simply get-the-answer-as I'm just speaking-"sarcastically" i.e. exact-opposite of what I should have been saying. Consider it as a[n] disclaimer/indication of my "Sarcasm". Or yet-again, reach me directly if one's not confident about his/her conclusion.
*I realised lately that I might've "missed-something" in my original-post/"WU", so added few of the new elements without making any typo-/grammatical-corrections/improvements. Hoping you won't get "inconvenienced" by it, to say the least, if not appreciate it. But please, I hope you may not make form some 'negative-'perception about me (read its Edit-Note' to get a better-idea). π And yes, could you still get what I divulged as the "'magical-'appearance" thing (in 'P.P.S.'), if so, may you summarise what have you understood [to the least]? π€ And please, do it very-honestly by just looking inside your mind and this thread only rather 'elsewhere', accepted?? π π
Note: Didn't consider it necessary to explain my usage of apostrophes since it's obviously in most-common usage-applications, so I don't think they may cause any confusion to anyone generally, if any. And obviously, the reason why I-didn't-elaborate-it-more-than-deemed-necessary is already aforementioned, and apart from that, when IF doesn't accept those characters, it's futile naming then individually since no matter whatever-I-input, they'll always get 'translated' to what's identical or for particular symbols, [even] removed anyways. π³
P.S. The last-bit of my honesty is that, while the usage of those symbols may look "intellectual", I guess that may also be construed as a "disease" by some because it's excessive. So since you seem understandable, and "mature-"enough, I've 'painstakingly' tried to reduce its usage here. And yes, while it's still not a perfect-time to respond, I 'risked' doing so nevertheless since I'd already postponed it many times (due to the crisis of getting enough duration and opportunity to peacefully "formulate" it [in its entirety]), so any irregularities should be "pleaded forgiveness" as I already spent 'fair-'amount of time and efforts [while doing so], maybe at not-so-perfect-yet-'unavoidable'-opportunity. π³
P.P.S. And that's why I've [now] cut-short the presumably 'anxiety-triggering' long-length of this post by entirely removing the "quotebox" of my original-post included in your reply. π π
P.P.P.S. Except for this para[graph], the entire post has been 'crafted' several hours ago (almost 16-18). Also, some grammatical-improvements have been made during first complete-proofreading for this post 'just a while ago' (in ongoing session). But an exception is one time-sensitive point with added'-humour', I didn't change it.
Edit-Note #1: Fixed the improper-quoting of your post.
Edit-Note #2: Attempted to fix the same-issue reported in 1st-note.
Edit-Note #3: "" {Same here...}
Edit-Note #4: [Hopefully] The issue got fixed. {Phew...} Also added an additional-info in the 'P.P.P.S.' of this post which I originally intended to include to forget at the last-moment. π
