This an analysis on imaan and shayra, it's a bit long. Have patience and read!
It's shayra's abbu now!
Abbu, a call a father yearned to hear for the 17 years of his lifetime.
A call imaan wanted to hear from the moment, when Lord-The Almighty gifted imaan his very first adored gift. Shayra!
Nanhi shayra-the girl who lost her lifetime hero, when fate cruelly snatched away her father from her-kept a fair amount of questions to be answered as well.
Now today! When fate returns her hero-her abbu to her, she as a daughter has bagged a lifespan of happiness and security. But still a terminal question remains to be answered! Why?
Why would fate play such cruel strategy on an innocent face? May be fate wanted her to be strong, rigid, resilient into the most robust form of being. And she's today! A girl, with the hefty wings of fire. Who will propell to any extent for her mother's happiness. A perfect replica for her abbu. A perfect daughter, a strong sister.
Thus started our shayra's journey. She flowed, dribbled like a river. With no controls she cascaded with maximum potential.
But today she has to stop. Because the one to pilot her is here, the one to hold her back is here. Shayra's Abbu is here. And there he stands, hushed and out-stretched his hands towards her.
But why would she take this hand?
Where were these hands when she fall down of her first tiny step, where were these hands when a crowd applauded for her first school performance, where were these hands defending her when her ammi punished her for the very first time?
But still, with no questions answered stands there is a dad who crossed 17 years of torment, travelled across the border of hatred and rage only for one word of resonance. "Abbu"
She acted hard to him, in the most inhuman way possible-in the way she wants to warn him about the consequences he may face on leaving her again, the impact for creating a 17 years of void in her life.
But at the end of the day when her father tries his maximal to manifest as her best father, imaan's little doll with a smile has nothing to say but this.
Thank You, Abbu! 😊
