Wow ! What an emotional episode.
A one that truly showed the relationship a father and daughter shared. It is just happens, even with my father.. We are so similar, adamant and ziddi that we only end up fighting the most with eachother, yet it is the father that any daughter loves the most and it is a daughter for whom a dad can do anything and everything.
It was so good to see how Shaira overcame her ego to embrace her Abbu finally. (Not literally, but she understood the value of her father) Any daughter's first hero is always her father. And Imaan has been one. She is sure surprised and shocked and proud of how her father first fought Vikram in the morning and then put Vineet into Jail for troubling her.
The confrontation was simply because she couldnt let go of her ego and accept Imaan as Abbu even after everyone convinced her of his love for him. She told him right on his face that she doesnt like him. His reaction just melted her, when he asked her to relax and was walking away. But then, she does come around and call him Abbu and indirectly tell him that she has forgotten everything and is wanted to make a new start with him.
And just after the minute she calls him Abbu, she begins to call him Abbu like any other kid. For everything she wanted her Abbu too. Be it feeding cake, clicking a selfie. One such selfie where she didnt want Ayaan to be part of, just her, her ammi and her abbu.
I was so surprised to find it was indeed Shaira's idea to get a Abbu and Ammi married again. She said, SO that you could renew your vows again. This coming from Shaira expresses how much she wants her parents to have it working and also how she has completed accepted him as her Abbu. I simply loved the scene.
I always wondered why Imaan didnt choose to show her any picture that the two shared. And WOW ! What a present ! A birthday couldnt have been better. The photo was so adorable. Imaan Abbu with the little Shaira in his arms. I am also glab Shaira loved the gift.
The episode was overall wonderful to watch. Except for the sartaj-Indira angle. I simply am too.. what do i say, I cannot gather myself to see Sartaj getting attracted to Indira. Vikram has warned her that they are targetting only the soldiers not their families, so she doesnt have to do anything that will hurt the families. But I am sure she doesnt understand it and will go ahead with giving hints to Sartaj here and there🤢. And yes, we need to watch out for Vikram's family.
Thankfully, Dr. Nalini - Imaan happened 17 years back. Oh what a relief. I was wondering if it happened now. It would then have been too crushing and saddening. Even though it was probably a one night stand 17 years ago, Imaan feels he has cheated hence he is against / hesitating the idea of a remarriage with Nazneen. Probably this will be the guilt track for Nazneen. And if it turns over and she feels betrayed even after him confessing everything to her, then I shall surely be shocked. Coz she is the one who has kept mum about Salim and her. It would be horrible see her play the blame game. But we know one for sure, Nazneen isnt one such women !
Lets wait and hope for the Best !!
PS. Sorry I havent written a post since really long, coz I have been really caught up with work. Hope to write more regularly :)
