He was in prison for 17 years. He was locked there all alone. What do you think would have gone through his mind for these long years ? Just his family. He probably relived every moment a million times in his brain. And you think salim deserves to be with the family and not imaan ?

Her mother moved on because she thought imaan was dead. But hes alive. Shes loved him all through. He is the father of her children! Ofcourse she loves imaan. The feeking is probably lost but can be found.

Imaan needs his family now. Salim is fine so is shaira. Imaan needs all the love and attention.

After seeing his sincere efforts to find his place in his family.its a pitty shaira cant see his efforts.

Hey, cool down, I didn't say Imaan s family nor said don't deserve it. I never said Imaan was loitering away and enjoyed his life for these 17 years. Neither I said Naz didn't or don't love her husband. She loved him and that was evident because she lived a lone life for these many years. But now at this moment she had developed feelings for Saleem, the one who stood tall to support his brother's family, the one who filled the gap of Father in her children's life. the one who loved her without expecting something back. That has been approved by their mother as well. At this juncture came her old love and she was confused whether to celebrate his return and please him or his brother and took an hypothetical decision to support her husband who needs his wife in his life both emotionally & physically.

But as the law goes, any man gone missing for more than 7 years is declared dead and also his marriage is called null and void. So hypothetically Naz is no longer his wife and she has her free will to move ahead. But both Naz & Saleem love Imaan to such an extent, they want to sacrifice their love for him which is not gone well with the girl Shaira and how we call her selfish, just because she wanted her beloved Uncle to get his share of happiness in life? Being a teenage girl she has the knowledge of how her mother had found a solace in her uncle's company and how her uncle was ready to accept his Bhabi with her 2 grown up kids with open arms.

So Imaan has to work hard to get his daughter's acceptance. And till then, she will be insensitive towards him and to certain extent to her mother as well as she feels, her mother is now more concerned for the person who returned to her life after 17 years than those who lived and shared her sorrowful life fro 17 years.

And about the question you raised father & father figure, yes, the father figure knew who it hurts a orphan child when something was denied and he can't see the orphan feelings in the eyes of a little girl. So he will oblige for her wishes though he keeps an eye on her from distance. The father can easily refuse anything and even the child will not feel that hurt when her own father refuses (on normal circumstances).

All she cares now is the happiness of her mother & uncle who were ready to share their life together who were to hold back their love and emotion for the sudden intrusion of her father. She needs time to comprehend with reality.

Or maybe she just doesn't want to understand Imaan ... That's what I see , she isn't even up for giving him a chance of any kind ...

Shaira is very rude sometime & specially to imaan which isn't right. I mean we know she needs time to accept imaan but her behaviour is insensitive . She shouldn't treat Imaan this way , its not his mistake that he was away it was circumstances. But she should respect him she should learn from ayaan who is younger than her but still trying to behave more sensitivly . When Naaz told her decision she should respect her mother's decision .

Shaira simply doesn't seem to accept Imaan. She doesn't want her and only want Salim at any cost.
