Shaira the insensitive girl

Shaira has crossed every limit today. She wants her mother to take decision for her. Till now she was telling her mom has to be happy. Now Naz had taken the decision. She had decided to come back to Imaan and this decision she has taken on her volition.

Totally agree with you..she is so insensitive and all she cares about is herself. is ladki ko Apni zidd ke alawa kuch nahi dikhayi deta.

@ Shruthi, I beg to differ a little here. Shaira has not been with her father since she wa a child or say had only seen Salim taking care of her and her brother and mother. She would not have had any problem with her mother accepting her husband back, if she was not ready to get married to Salim and all of a sudden the entry of Imaan has toppled everything and the lady who had forgotten her husband and wanted to move on with Salim has to change her mind only to please her husband who has retuned after 17 years in a enemy country. By trying get back to Imaan, she is hurting the feelings of that one person who lived his whole life (last 17 long years) only for her and her children and never had thought of his own family. Now when the time had come for him to have some happiness in his life by having the one whom he loved (gradually) and cherished, that has been snatched out in one big move. the girl who had dreamt of him & her mother as a couple and cherished is unable to see and accept the happiness draining out of his hands. He was her beloved and she can't bear someone harming him even if is her own biological father who has suddenly appeared from no where and claimed all the rights her father figure had so far.

And about the question you raised father & father figure, yes, the father figure knew who it hurts a orphan child when something was denied and he can't see the orphan feelings in the eyes of a little girl. So he will oblige for her wishes though he keeps an eye on her from distance. The father can easily refuse anything and even the child will not feel that hurt when her own father refuses (on normal circumstances).

All she cares now is the happiness of her mother & uncle who were ready to share their life together who were to hold back their love and emotion for the sudden intrusion of her father. She needs time to comprehend with reality.

@jaya I was fine with Shaira's coldness, her distance with Imaan. But she doesn't show basic humanity to him. I mean if it was a man who had gone just like that one fine day and come back it is understandable.

@ Shruthi, I can understand what you are trying to convey but here Shaira has seen and accepted Salim as her father or father figure and want him to be happy. Since the arrival of Imaan, his happiness has gone away from him and her 2 beloved people have been forced to stay away from each other has made her to hate the intruder. Since she has no memory of her father, she doesn't feel any connection with him and it takes time for her to melt for him. Let us hope it happens soon.

Yes Aahana basic politeness is all what I expect from her. The 18 year old is old enough to understand it.

My biggest problem with shaira is her insensitivity . She lacks basic manners & emapathy .seriosuly if only it would have been imaan around them , their kids could have been a bit disciplined . Salim did took care of them , loved them but he couldn't teach shaira to be a understanding , compassionate person . This is where both Naaz & Salim have failed in raising her

With u guys ---- though initially *benefit of doubt* was applicable to her for her actions --- but now she's being a *brat* with no sense of *humanity or humility* ---- the least she can do is show some sympathy for someone who is her biological dad if not *empathy* ---- !!!!
It gets difficult to keep giving her benefit of doubts ----- at this point all I can say is that she's a *spoilt brat* who is simply self centered & selfish ----- Initially i thought she cared for her mother so was fighting for her ---- but now it's clear she only cares for herself --- what she *wants* than what her mother wants & desires ----- no sense of respect from her what so ever for Naz's one of toughtest decisions ever --- !!!!
What a disappointing kid ---- like the brother more ---- he is much more humble & caring than his sister ---!!!!
