First thing first, Imaan is my favorite character of all and my feels are all over the place when he comes on-screen and I'm a devoted fangirl and I might be biased but I never vouched for Salim-Naaz and it's been Imaan-Naaz from day one (yes, I am that shallow. I choose my favorites and stick to it from the first episode however they turn out to be later :D )
And my dear bro, what a beautiful post. I wish it was longer and I'd read and read and read and read... (take the cue- and write more madam!)
And I agree. People connected through grief develop a strong bond. And that's understandable. When you both are vulnerable and suffering and have seen each other and been with each other in those times of misery, you take some sort of sadistic assurance in 'I'm not alone' and you derive strength from each other. When you connect in happiness, there are places for second thoughts and doubts on validity of that relationship. When you connect in melancholy, there is somehow a sort of confidence and you are not consciously plagued by self-doubts. And maybe it is because when we are in our toughest of times, we bare our souls and our emotions are sprawled across naked and raw. There is honesty in such relationships. And when it gets time to bloom and prosper, how incredibly the bond deepens! Love, love Imaan-Sartaj friendship and brotherhood!
And there's Harleen and Naaz- tied together by circumstances. Women who have suffered, who have waited, who are confused and uncertain in their respective situations and inevitably, who are a support system and guide for each other when they need a clarity of thought. What a wonderful equation!
(Again, I love this post. And the title too! And I'm waiting for Aahana bro to comment. Because you, I and her should connect through posts on IF. Yeh bhi toh ek saccha rishta hain khikhikhi :'D )
(meanwhile *flicks hair*. Because I'll attend to the PMs after a few days *winks*. Kinda caught up in some stuffs. And Happy Holidays, love!)
