The only thing which can solve all this mess is by communication... naz and salim shud communicate with imaan bcoz imaan is the only key for this situations.. atleast Naz... bcoz of which Imaan can get to know the cold behaviour shaira is having towards him.. He can get naz out of this situation by helping her with making decision... Shaira Shouldn't talk to imaan abt this situation bcoz she will spill the most venomous words that she can which will worsen the situation... As one can observe imaan is now ok and can take a little bit of shock.. He is not reacting to situations like sartaj.. In case of sartaj i would have understood, he can go in coma after such news.. But imaan is well balanced person one can easily notice... So y to drag everthing when naz can easily see shaira and salim suffering... This doesnt justify shaira's rude behaviour towards imaan, bcoz when a man returns after torturous 17 yrs, he cannot expect such cold and rude behaviour from any1 not only shaira...
Dear ur post is good and also voicing out shaira's thinking, but she shud be atleast sensible while talking to a person... Its fine she is not considering imaan as her father and he has shattered all her "perfect family" picture.. But he is a human, atleast talk to him like a human.. Have a normal convo with him... Ya but for this she shud be mature enough which she completely lacks...

Lack of communication causes all these emotional distress and things are already complicated here and no one is ready to loosen up the ties and reveal the truth- because everyone is plagued by their own sense of guilt and regrets.

I grieve for Imaan. Here's a POW of seventeen years, fatigued with the ghost of past, the wounds still raw, the remnants of torture visible in eyes-- and feels like he's on hold- seventeen long years and so much to catch up on- but an assurance, I have a family and he tries so hard to bridge the gaps, to be loved and accepted by people he loves dearly- and in return, doesn't even get the liberty of truth, truth of where he stands in life for his beloved ones- nothing is as gruesome as that. Wish Naaz and Saleem get enough strength to confront him with the truth. The goddamn circumstances!

Shaira is immature. At eighteen, I'm surprised to see her lack of sensitivity, awareness and perspective.
