Iman doing it deliberately??

I feel he made some deal with Pakistanis and escaped from the prison and then came back to India but he is not ready to do what they have instructed him. And he cannot disclose the information about the deal directly to anyone not even vikram so i guess that is why he is giving hints to vikram indirectly..

Initially he gave all the info about his 17 years of prison life including the names of the places and the officer's who tortured him except one person who said him about the worldcup.. In this sartaj said that the man was an officer but Iman said that the man was a common man drawing vikram's attention towards that issue.. If he want to hide things he could have hidden the entire part regarding the torture for world cup or he and sartaj could have given only one statement.. but he disclosed it and that too with contradictions in the statements between his and sartaj's..

Secondly he wantedly spoke about lala in the room in morse code so that vikram can know about that name.. otherwise they could have spoke about him when they were with their respective families but no.

Next time he made a dish in his wife's show which was specific of pak and also said he learnt it from one of his pak friend. just imagine a war prisoner who was tortured for 17 years in enemy territory how much hatred will he have for that country. he would hate the mention of that word too but here he made a dish which belong to that nation and also mentioned it openly. since i have seen the episodes in hotstar it was shown that duggal and vikram get to know about the person only from the clue provided by Iman in the cookery show.. though Iman made that dish he could have said something else but no he mentioned that he learnt it from pakistani friend..

so with all this i feel Iman is slowly leaving hints to Vikram so that vikram himself can crack what was assigned to him and spoil that plan which Iman and sartaj were assigned. initially he made vikram suspicious about the worldcup man and made him curious to think about him and then revealed the name through morse code and now gave a hint about him in the cookery show..

And i feel Iman is the only master mind behind this and is not involving sartaj in it and that is why he keeps assuring sartaj that vikram's chapter is closed and he will not be behind them as he very well knows that vikram will be behind the clues he will be leaving and cracking down the mission which was assigned to them. otherwise being an air force he not a fool to believe that vikram believed his words and left him or left him because of his wife's drama on tv on the interrogation night.. that is why he keeps on stopping sartaj from telling anything to the higher officials directly..

I guess initially vikram will feel Iman and sartaj as imposters from pak but will later realise the intentions of Iman and will crack the operation which was assigned to them..

this thought really made me feel more excited for the show..

The way Iman is so cool about everything and sure that nothing will happen to them does implies he do have some plan up his sleeves

he is mysterious so who knows total opposite ho 😆

Secondly he is fast picking up the latest technology unlike Sartaj who finds it difficult to move in the new situation and feels it is better he was a shaheed.

Imaan very much wants to live. And yes your analysis is pretty logical. He is giving things indirectly to Vikram. Quite possible because he is an Indian Airforce officer afterall.

in the launch they mentioned that the show is an adaptation of hatufim not homeland..

homeland was different from hatufim..

and i guess keeping the sensitivities of the Indian audience they cant show two Indian soldiers as traitors so i guess Iman and sartaj are gonna be positive in the end but before that they need to go thru a lot before they prove that..

lets wait and see whats gonna happen..

I believe they will be positive in the end but will be shown as negative and supicious for a while..

the story writers are not like the uncreative cv's of daily soaps they look more sensible and im sure they would give us an exciting roller coaster ride of emotions..
