Sorry but may you please elaborate [on this]?? 🤓 Are you trying to say that song helped him connect back to his culture and reminisce those old memories associated with it? And how singing a Punjabi folk song would've given a message to those Paki abductors and torturers? Because Punjabi is a part of their [own] culture, too. I think there should be no qualms and shame in acting honest that neither I'm fluent in Punjabi nor even have a sound knowledge of it. Almost all of the Punjabi I have 'learnt' (understood) so far is through pop-culture. So may you please 'bear the pain' to translate those lyrics to either English or Hindi should you understand Punjabi well (so I can understand well if I'm missing something)? 🤔

Apologies again if I've 'disturbed' you and have sounded to you like a 'nerd'. 😳

Actually, I thought that you referred to your [academic/school] textbook so it must be a poem. That means, [I] am fully aware about the term "excerpts".

No issues.⭐️

No worries 😃. Hi am Sanjana 😳

Hello, Ms Sanjana! 😊 My full-name is indeed my username. Now, I don't think I need to clarify what's my first/given name since I think you're knowledgeable-enough to distinguish from a[n?] username. 😉

P.S. Are you a "fan" of 'Dahleez', really? 😊 You regularly watched its episodes or is it just that you "feel" for its [female-]protagonist only [currently seen in a TVC of a well-known brand which sponsored a New Year Celebration-cum-Awards programming on the very same network]?? 🤔
P.P.S. "New Year" se yaad aaya...! Ki I've "officially" announced my 'comeback' (though with a bit of a 'twist' kept 'under wraps') on the New Year greetings thread here. But where are you, 'dear'? Busy in some stuff, or just not interested in this show anymore? 🤔 Mera kya hai...?. As I elaborated there, I was away for <this-and-that; yada-yada-yada> reasons and also would like to add that, I was so 'delighted' from the 'progress' in the series that I took a break [from "silent-reading"] of half-a-month from this forum. 😊 Hopefully, at least one of your few acquaintances [who were originally following this forum] may still be here. The "buzz" is that the makers/showrunners have now reached to their biggest-'development' possible, so I thought it would be a right-time to make a [well-intentioned] 'comeback'. If you're [still] watching the series or have [an iota of] interest to catch-up, then please do try ASAP. I guess, we would love to see your 'fearless', unbiased analysis here. 😊

Edit-Note #1: Edited [this post] only to remove double-quote [of replies] due to my "copy-pasting" of typed text-matter (spare enough-time to read that post in New Year thread, hopefully you'll understand yourself).
