Sorry but may you please elaborate [on this]?? 🤓 Are you trying to say that song helped him connect back to his culture and reminisce those old memories associated with it? And how singing a Punjabi folk song would've given a message to those Paki abductors and torturers? Because Punjabi is a part of their [own] culture, too. I think there should be no qualms and shame in acting honest that neither I'm fluent in Punjabi nor even have a sound knowledge of it. Almost all of the Punjabi I have 'learnt' (understood) so far is through pop-culture. So may you please 'bear the pain' to translate those lyrics to either English or Hindi should you understand Punjabi well (so I can understand well if I'm missing something)? 🤔
