Aah this is such a lovely post!
Love your observations about Imaan. He was somewhat of a surprise package for me as well. I was looking forward to watching the other characters' stories unfold (probably because I was familiar with the actors who play them) more than Imaan's but now, he's my favourite hands down, mainly because he's such a mystery. Also is it just me or is anyone else shipping Sartaj-Harleen? Loving Purab and Amrita's chemistry in the few scenes I've seen thus far.

Great post!
I agree with you about Imaan. While all the characters here have many layers, Imaan is someone I'd like to know more about. I just don't know what's going on in his head. He's confident and calculated, headstrong too, but not enough to ignore the enemy. He definitely has control over his emotions, and the only time I see him depart from his calm demeanor is when his family, particularly his kids, are involved. Towards Naaz, I sense coldness, actually. Almost detachment at times. I feel like he's been through so much that for him, Naaz is there, but he doesn't really need her. He doesn't need anyone but himself. He's driven by his goals, and I don't think emotional ties with his wife are his main concern right now. But I look forward to seeing how that might change. I feel like the only people who Imaan would be willing to get closer to are his children at this point, if even.On another note, I was surprised at the distance between Imaan and Saleem. They're brothers, right? They hardly seemed related at the reunion in the first episode. Have they always been this way, or did something drive them apart? Could there have been a relationship between Naaz and Saleem before Imaan left, and he found out? I'm definitely curious about the distance between these two.

@Sindhu_18 The precap had me squeeing too! But judging from the rest of it and the promo, I think they're going to focus on the Imaan-Naaz-Salim triangle this week. So I'm not expecting to see much of Sartaj-Harleen. As long as there's not much of that passive aggressive Shaira's whining, I won't mind too much. There's plenty of time for them to explore Sartaj-Harleen's story.
