Unres! 😊

Episode 1 - 7th Nov 2016

Can I just say todays episode was mind blowing? Ive seen it at least 3 times already

The episode starts off with the Head officer showing up in his jeep, talking to his wife (more life listening, she doesnt even let him up. Bicharai di bolti band karati 🤣) Once there, since he's already annoyed at the phone call and in a hurry, he tells his jawans that it better be worth it, and if its another false alarm then see 😆 Im loving this guys way of working lol

It moves onto the soilders in the forest in LOC throwing the red firework in the air. Twice done and a fellow soilder goes up to check as hes hidden, and the moment he see's two people, he admits they arnt jungle animals (looks like someone remembered what the Coach said 🤣)

On the other side, their Sir is listening to them via phone, and tell them to catch the two alive(in the process scaring the tiny dude on the phone infront of him) just so that they have evidence. LOOVVEE this dialogue, totally perfect. "NSA hamaisha crossover activity ki evidence mankta hai na, is baar evidence ka charava kar daitai hai 😎) 👏

Shoot to wound is ordered, however the other side starts to fire. (How does all their shooting not hit those two?) So many bullets..

Indian Army notices Pakistan is aiming at those two not India. However, even against their will, Indian army has to follow orders and shoot to wound.

Hats off to the two actors who are playing the indian soilders escaping pakistan. The way they bled their blood to come over the wire, they way they are begging not to be shot, the fear on their face. Its evident.

Harleen is introduced, listening to punjabi music on the tranctor. Waiting for her boofer, and getting the aux wire too. Shes pumping her tractor

Can I just say HOW MUCH I LOVED the paath. So real.

Bauji is so nice. Harleen; the daughter in law is the older son in the house in his eyes. And the way she gets up and folds her hands in respect to him and then infront of the guru, you just feel like looking at her innocense. The EK Omkar and Wahe Guru Ji Ki Vatai moment just touched by head.

Not going to go into detail of the girl getting arrested. She looks like she loves going to jail, like its her sasuraal. And why would someone throw a show with that big heals at someone? Crazy.

Its evident that Nasleen hasnt moved on.

Security councel is given all proof of the dna matches with the records that those two people.

Can I just say Harleen's family is just adorable XD The grandfather is so sweet. Tried explaining to her that shes done so much, now its time for her to take care of herself. On the other hand, Nasleens mother in law reads the letter her daughter sent to have Nasleen marry her brother in law. The contrast, one doesnt want to move on, because even she doesnt know the answer to if shes a single person, a widow or divorced , and their is Nasleen who isnt able to make her mind. I have a feeling she said yes just for her daughter. Harleen tries asking she already has all her freedom, she completed her bcom degree, she dances freely, works in the fields, what difference will it make. The simple answer, it will give support and love. When all her options fail, she asks why do you want me to go, to which bauji quickly confirms it has to be a ghar jamai, shes not going anywhere because this is her house. Nasleen is faced with the fact that shes not a widow, Imaams missing in action, but Shazya is quick to protest. Finally Nasleen says yes. The difference

The call comes. The family is informed.

I love the view Harleen is sitting at. The sunrise.

A representitive from the army explains the situation to a professor, and they continue to show what happened once they had the two guys at gunpoint. Singh has a Khalsa tatoo on his arms wrist. They confirms those two are part of the indian army.

The Prof goes to the media press and explains they found the soilders and brought them back in India. Have you noticed one thing? One thing he says is right. A emptiness of 17 years is going to end today; little does he know lots of things will be tangled too. They will meet their family.
The soilders have both men sit in the helicoptar, and then Imaam and Singh are taken off, while the soilders on the ground salute them.

I love the tune for Harleen and Nasleen; the violen playing. Anyone else think they would make great friends? Nasleen even ends up putting her hand on Harleens to support her, as she finds support for herself too.

Flashback happens. Harleen and Subhaidaar's wedding just happened, and the army comes to summon him. (This part I was a little picky about, because a lot of people from my dads side are in the army so as this scene happened, my dads like no one comes to them like that and then picks up their luggage too. ) Poor Harleen though.

Subhaidaar and Imaam show at the building, and as they enter the building, both Harleen and Nasleen can sense them. Both eagerly look at the door. I have to give it to both of them; the eagerness, the fear of what state they will be in, the relief of seeing someone after 17 years after not knowing if they are dead or alive right in their eyes. I think even at this moment Imaam's mother knew Nasleen's situation too.

Both soilders enter, and its like everyone is left with shock on their faces, seeing the people they thought were missing for 17 years and not knowing what happened to them standing right infront of them.

Bauji is the first to confront Subhaidaar. He walks slowly, and as he closes him, he slowly lifts his hand. Its nice how even his facial expression you can see the sorrow and happiness evident on his face. He touches Subaidaars head (Subaidaar had worn a Bhaag when he went to the army, as Sikhs dont cut off their hair, so the fact that they forced him to cut his hair off, Bauji probably sensed that. As Bauji touches the hair, Subaidar looks guilty for the lost hair; but it wasnt his call nothing he could have done right ? Subaidaar asks about his mom, and bauji says no. Meaning, she has passed. Its sad how shes meeting everyone, and Harleen is standing in the back poor girl. She slowly walks to him when bauji calls, and finally she cries, saying sat shriakal to her husband.

Its Imaams turn. Nasleen finally hugs him and cries her eyes out, and a that time her daughter is more worried about her chachu then her dad. I guess like other people said, shes more close to her chachu thats why. Lets see. Both kids say hi awkwards, girl more awkward.

Subaidaar looks jiffy; whats wrong with him

Both indian soilders go out to the media and wave hands for pictures, and in that process Imaam gives Subaidaar his number and tells him no one will find out (find out what!)
At the same time the Prof is confronted by his friend aka colleague and Prof tells him that its strange that 17 years of being in prison, these two soldiers cross the border after running, Pakistan fires but not a single bullet hits them and the bullet that does hit is from our side. He says its a well thought plan. He points out that 17 years is a long time, and a lot can change in that time. Hes asked even indian soilders. He says yes. He points out that maybe they didnt run, they were sent here.

Subaidaar keeps calling Imaam Sir. Is that out of respect or is he his boss. Onop of that he said Qudha Haffis; here im confused. Is he saying Quda aafis to Imaam because its a way to say bye in Imaam's language or is Subairdaar muslim now and hes faking it?

Loved todays episode!
I especially loved the female background music.

I would like to comment on the last part of yesterday's episode, what I feel is that they have been compelled to work for Pakistan now(they do have their own horrifying ways) and they have changed their religion as well. Otherwise let's see what they have in store for us. Really looking forward:D

Sartaj has spent 17 years in muslim country jail so it could be possible that he had picked up Khuda Hafiz. May be to confuse viewers this point rather word is given importance. The single word have boggled minds with various questions. We are forced to think if Sartaj hv changed religion or is it he have picked up or learnt in jail. can imaan and sartaj be trusted or not.

I was wondering the same. It's been making me wonder so much the way both of them were acting. Did you notice one looked confident and one was still scared even though his family is right in front of him. I really hope they don't do anything for Pak which will hugely affect India.

exactly, that's the important question running around right now- that can those two be trusted? I guess only time will tell.

I have actually never seen that show, but if it's anything close to this show then I'm definitely going to give that show a shot too

But dear, isn't Homeland' [almost] entirely different from this show? I'm not saying from the story development that followed but even considering that you made that reply after watching only pilot, didn't you read interviews and heard the "buzz" all around that it's nothing like that globally-popular American series? In fact, it was quite apparent that there will be no mentally-disturbed CIA Agent-like-character in this show and the American counterpart is still running but has left its core concept behind long ago (no offence but pretty much like our Indian shows 😉). And above all, both of the shows are marketed under different genres to further clear-out the same, this, the Indian one is a family-drama while that American one is a thriller. 😳 Ain't it?? 🤔 Hope you won't mind.

P.S. Are you a "diehard"/hard-core Mahabharat' (2013-14) fan? 😊
