What I really like about them is the way they include Ramesh in everything. Most serials show "papa ko pata chalega to unhe kitna bura lagega." Mothers too are not usually open about "girly" problems with their husbands... That is beautifully portrayed here. Waise I think vivek is becoming the next babuji... Fruity's dad to Nishu's. He's mighty awesome at it too. ❤️
And laxmi is Sooo... Adorable.❤️

I too love Ramesh and Laxmi a lot. They have been a very goo example to all the parents. They are with their children ( their own and nephews and nieces) in every situation and understand them well. Nisha and bunty are lucky to have them as parents.

Cousins would take time. They are no where near having an AT from me..😆 Till now, they actually haven't done anything in unity. They have supported each other, but there hasn't been any solid incident or help, except from Nisha. Let's see how long they take.

That's an excellent point you have raised. I remember how when Nisha stopped Lakshmi from telling Ramesh her past, Lakshmi said, "Papa hai woh". It's great that Lakshmi shares everything that happens with Ramesh openly, because he has the right to know. What if Nisha is a girl? She is his daughter and he has full responsibility over her to take care of her. It's also commendable how Ramesh understands Nisha. Usually fathers take longer time to understand "girly" problems, but here we have the father discussing the daughter's crush. Lakshmi has the trust that Ramesh won't misunderstand.

Another great thing about RL is they don't hide anything from each other, especially when it regards to kids. Like how Ramesh said Umesh that he has to tell Lakshmi about the kangan matter. They both are together in everything. Kids too know that if they tell one, the other will automatically know.

You left Sukku😆

Honestly, I don't consider them as perfect parents, but they are definitely someone whom you can approach during crisis and they won't be judgmental. I was totally against Ramesh for giving such a huge amount to Sukku for the bike. So, they make mistakes as well, but they are good enough to admit it in front of kids also.

I remember a line which Ramesh said Dadaji, that he has taught the kids that the goodness of a father cannot be measured by how much he earns. Usually kids like people who get them expensive things, but here it is proved that money doesn't matter, but it's the person who does.

I am sure the cousins will stand by her side together with Saurav...they have always supported eachother one way or the other...so when Nisha suffers a heartbreak they will defo be there for her.
Besides they are forcing her to face her feelings for Viraj at the moment

Yes they are awesome...their relationship is portrayed so beautifully here
In the next awards they definitely deserve the award for BEST MOM and BEST DAD...without any doubt

@ bold : Sukku also

Indeed RL share everything with one another and this is how it should be in a family. Everything should be known to the other person, makes the trust stronger and makes it easier to understand and solve the problems of the family

Honestly! I doubt they will get the awards because usually in SP, the awards are given to the most undeserving. But RL deserve the award, because for the first time it would actually be given to the hakdaar.

Yesterday's RL scene had lot of deep thoughts imbibed from the parents' point of view.

Fear of Ramesh- He is a man who is considers himself as a failure and is considered by others too. He fears the same result for his daughter. He doesn't want his daughter's life to result in the same way as his. He doesn't want her to get hurt and hence wants to stop her from doing things that could hurt her, and lead her into a shell, which her past had already done it to her. He wants to be there for her this time, and protect her from harm.

Courage of Lakshmi- She feels the same as Ramesh, she wants to protect her daughter too. But she has got a lot of insight from the counsellor which is helping her a lot. Rightfully, they have to let their daughter make mistakes and learn from it, fall down and learn to get up. They have to let her feel the emotion of love, so that she understands it completely and doesn't fear that emotion in the future.

Love this part of the scene...

Lakshmi: Nishu masoom hai, nasamajh nahin. Humein use thoda waqt dena hoga. Usse apni galtiyon se hi seekna hoga. Nisha ko apni zindagi ki faisle khud lene honge.

Ramesh: Haan. Anth main use apni zindagi ko khud hi jeeni hai. Hamara kya? Hum toh aaj hai, Kal no na ho.

Lakshmi: Haan. Aur jab tak hai, sirf maa baap banke hi rahe, bhagwaan nahi ki uski kismet likhne lagi.

And after some light moments between them...

Ramesh: Kaash hum bhagwaan hote, kam se kam apni bachon ki zindagi toh likh pate.
