Yesterday's topic was much needed. All over the world, (yes believe it or not) there are some people who put restrictions on girls. Be it because they think that girls are inferior to boys or because of concerned parents like Bobby and Bhagwan Das.

I think Bobby and Bhagwan Das were both right in their position. It is quite normal for them to be concerned for Babli; as she is innocent and they care for her.

But I also loved Bhagwan Das's decision that just because of certain people we shouldn't stop living our life. We know what the right decisions are and we need to show that trust in our loved ones.

I feel that Babli was somewhat right though from her POV. She felt restricted and thought it was because she is a girl. Later though, she went on to realize how much Bobby her mother really cares for her; and it wasn't restricting her but her love for her.

I think this is a very important theme and it was much needed.

Yes, Saturday's episode was a good topic. I was hoping they would cover something about the differentiation between girls and boys, and they sort of did it in this episode. Not exactly as I wanted it covered though, but I did like the episode because even though I live in the U.S.A, I still go through issues like what Bubbly did on Saturday. It's a tough situation because there is not one person who is wrong and there is not one person who is right; there's no black and white. It just depends on your perception of the situation.

Bobby was being a little bit overly concerned, but her concern was not wrong. Bubbly is a sweet and innocent girl, and she does not know everything about the world outside of her home. BD was not wrong though either; as parents, you have to be able to trust your children. Bubbly's behavior was wrong, but her point was valid. I sometimes too get into arguments about the same issues Bubbly was arguing with her mother for. One does not mean to be rude or disrespectful, but sometimes you get angry and frustrated and things get said and done that should not have happened. At least Bubbly did calm down and apologized to her mother, and I do it too afterwards.

Mothers can be very hard to convince and with Bubbly being the oldest and a girl, parents tend to be very overly protective (as in my case ๐Ÿ˜†). Bobby wants to trust Bubbly, but she does not trust the other people in the world. That is a valid concern for parents, but that is why you have to trust them and also trust in God. He will always watch and take care of you. Bubbly did give them quite a panic by not calling, and I have been in Bubbly's shoes before too. Things happen like phone battery dying or being in a place with no signal, but parents get so frightened because they are not there with you. I too get scolded for not calling like Bubbly did. ๐Ÿ˜† I'm usually pretty good now with sending a text message though because phone calls do not always connect, but I can usually always send a text. As you try to understand where your parents' concern is coming from, you as a child also try to be more careful because you do not want them to worry about you or lose trust in you.

Also though, I understand completely why parents are so concerned when they send their children out of the house alone during the night hours. Unfortunately, the world is not safe, and there are very bad people in this world. That is why we as children have to communicate with our parents about where we are going, who we are going with, and did we reach okay. As parents though, you have to trust your children and trust God.

I did ask my mom though when Shivaye told BD to have faith Him that Bubbly will return home safely, about why does it happen that people will send their children out of the house trusting in God but still things happen to them? It's not just children though; it's people in general. She did not have much of an answer to give.
