As far as I could understand from the WU, if I am not wrong Ansh covered the moon with his wings and then attacked Angad and not Singha... He killed Angad in his human form and not in Singha form... Although, I don't know the exact thing..
Singha can't die but Angad can as he is a human. So Ansh ripped his wings off and sent those to cover the moon. At that time, Angad came to his sense and Ansh hit him with his own horn which resulted in his death. So right now, no Angad, no Singha. 😒
