I know at this point, I am coming off as a really annoying person now who is going on and on about one of the most depressing episodes that they have ever aired.
But this one track and the upcoming track combinely could have explored so many things and so many different shades which has not been done properly.
Let's start with Ansh. He is the type of a person who wouldn't hurt a fly if it's not necessary. Despite knowing Mo's attempts to kill his family members he kept giving her chances - which is pure dumbness. So at this point, he is not completely wrong in suspecting Mo or Angad when they first came. He could definitely be cautious but instead they made her a jealous husband without no reason. If Piya is wrong in not listening to him, then even he is wrong in not trusting Piya's gut who have always identified who is right and who is wrong before anyone. Just like he expected Piya to have positive thinking yet be cautious; even he should have been a little more considerate regarding Angad - which he didn't. And I can overlook the killing part also considering he didn't have the complete information like Piya. But at that point, at least he could apologize instead of going on and on about how he did the right thing. He has practically turned into David/Prince Charming of the earlier seasons of OUAT who was a proud jackass. At least, he didn't kill anyone but Ansh did and still is refusing to believe someone really good/honest could have ever loved Mo or he did a huge mistake.
Now coming to Piya, she has been my most favorite character mostly because of her flawed nature. Yet, in this particular episode she pissed me off. Looks like she didn't learn anything at all after all these years. She did one mistake earlier - impulsively took a decision to become a mermaid which ultimately led to Mo blackmailing and trapping her along with the entire family and they would have surely died unless Shalaka hadn't discovered the truth. Yet, after all these years, she chose to keep Angad's secret. All she had to do was tell everything to Mo, her family and Team R so that the wedding could take place and in case anything went out of hand, they could trap Singha. If it was revealed that Angad was lying then at that point they wouldn't be wrong to killing him. But instead, she kept quite and let the disaster happen.
Last but not the least Mohana. She wanted to turn over a new leaf. But let's not forget she killed thousands of innocents in her 250+ years and attempted to murder Gs and PiyAdi numerous times. So it's actually foolish to expect Gs would help her instead of saving their own asses. Karma catches up to everyone sooner or later and for Mo, it had to be Angad because this is the only person she has ever truly loved. The worst part is, an innocent has died in the entire process.
Ultimately all the three main characters had reason for approving and also disapproving the entire scenario. If they had explored all these points or their own doubts like Ansh doubting himself whether he was being too harsh or Piya doubting whether she was doing some mistake by trusting Mo, the track wouldn't have come across such a disaster.
But here, they have given a free ticket to the ultimate badie and made the most innocent character a cold blooded murder while the one who is responsible for maintaining a balance just looked at everything like a mere spectator.
So really don't know whether they'll ever be successful in redeeming Ansh because at this point I can't think of him as innocent or show Mo to be the villain who is actually the victim here.
