Previous Star Plus shows I had loved they were short and to the point, there was no unnecessary dragging of storylines, it was just the portrayal of events as they occurred. Lets hope Cvs don't bring the name of other star plus shows down with this.

Also, Cvs should consult the researcher of the shows of Mahabharat and Siya ke Ram. - Wasn't there a controversy with this show ?

If i may be frank i like watching a good bromance. So when they showed the promo of it i was intrigued but the mytho setting was a deterrent.

When i heard someone complain about it being not a traditional show i was curious to know what the issue was. Was it because it was fictionalized or was because it was mordenized ? You're analysis gave me clarity on the picture.

And for the record i see modernization in terms of story telling like they did with the greek gods. Like they do with christianity out west or take south east Asia where they have stories like the legend of the monkey king.

Yes i know it is not possible here !

I hope i didn't offend you with my views. See u around then.

Of course not, Views are meant to be shared this is a discussion forum after all.

Greek Gods are so Awesome, I always wanted a Sitcom about Life at Olympus, how awesome would that be!

I don't think we will get such a thing with Indian Mythology though not in the near future at least, even with proper Disclaimers our media and audience are too sensitive to approach it with a view of anything other than devotional lens.

You beautifully said what i was hesitating to express. Where there is sensitivity there can’t be any discussion. Shame really because our writers are really talented, they can give even other countries tough competition.

Life at Olympus sitcom would be hilarious. There’s something similar in SNL. When I mentioned Greek shows i was thinking Hercules Xena... Then there’s Lucifer 😈 Sailor Moon....

I’m mostly into manga & Korean shows.

I could analyse as much from your display picture.😊

I have heard off Sailor Moon through my scrolling off Tumblr, isn't there a character named Lakshmi there?

Have you watched American Gods? It bought together so many gods and had such a real characteristic approach to them. Yeah, it was a Dark show but I really liked there spin on Kali.

You mean my chibi for Rafaello sweets.

No there isn't actually one. Lakshmi moon is just a creation of a fan's imagination.

I heard of American Gods but haven't watched. For real they have a character on kali.

Kali as in Maa Kali, not Kali yug. She is just there for a few minutes but the casting choice as well as there take on her character is amazing.
