Hello everybody,
The ' central character ' of Mahabharat was Arjun and so is in Nagarjun as well. An ordinary man who is different from others.
In my personal view, This is all about 21st century's Arjun's journey into the inner world, who started having mental health problem, can not sleep, nightmares and visions. As the problem rises and he goes more inside, he faces two opposite forces of nature, Astika and Vasuki ( like Sakuni and Krishna in Mahabharat). He is pulled in by these two forces. But since they are opposite, they want to take him in their own way. And result, there is clash. This is how they come into the role of Arjun's inner journey.
But Arjun is still in twilight zone and Astika's role is to take him further deeper into the Nagloka to manipulate him for his 'mani' (nothing to do father/son love). This is the world of survival which is dark, cold and brutal. And we have been watching how far they can go down.
And on the other hand, Vasuki's role is to hide the mani by helping him and utilise it for the good of "Triloka". This is the world of positive emotion, healing and living in harmony. This is the world if we are free and independent, possibility is limitless.
But at the end of the day, story comes back to Arjun. Because this is about Arjun's life. He is the one who has been going through all this not others. Now he has issues to solve. He must explore it, understand it, fight back, conquere it and come out.
During the process, we will be seeing a lot of transformation in Arjun in coming episodes. What he faces, how he reacts, what he explores, what he understand and what is he going to do to comeback? I am really excited to watch all these (after all, these are all on the screen).
By now ,I think we understand where Nikitin Dheer stands. and my guess is like Sakuni his role is diminishing and on the other hand, Vasuki like Krishna, he will be more active to guide Arjun to come out from this mess.
And finally, I would like to request fellow audience to comment so that we can move forward together. thank you.
