I'm just wondering why didn't the Shastri's think of approaching any lawyer regarding the accusations made by that corrupt goon cop? At least they could have prevented the cop from forcing them to admit a crime they did not commit?? How are they going to prove their innocence now even if they get a lawyer? By the way I was wondering whether one can file a case against that cop for going against the law just to meet his personal agenda?

Rein, are you seriously looking for logic in an Indian TV show? 🤣 And they can file a case against the cop but they won't..they will go the dramatic way and not the logical way. 😆

Yes my dear I am looking for it specially if I have high expectations from a show that has just started. I like the show because of its concept, it's fresh feel, the conclusion of naagin and somewhat youth orientation, I'm not saying it is one but to me it feels like that so I can't help but expect the characters to think logically. Besides drama and logic together have a greater impact on the audience. Also the cliche 1980s Bollywood scenarios are a bit turn off so I just hope they don't exaggerate that anymore.

Probably could file a case against the cop for his actions claiming mental trauma/ abuse, but not sure. It would probably be futile because cops can easily bribe lawyers/ judges to take their sides, esp when going up against someone powerful like an SP.

And I don't think the family was thinking straight. It was a panicky situation from the beginning. It literally went from zero to 100 in mere seconds and I doubt Shastri ji expected that he'd get treated this way.

Plus, it's a show LOL. Indian shows rarely follow logic and often require us to suspend our beliefs.

Jai ho to the nonsense. 🥱 Any normal poeple will file a case against the cop who threatens openly that he will kill them but in Indian shows they will bear it and do what the cop says.
