I agree I've never had any liking towards Sajid as a Judge on NB (Shipa either, but thats another story). I've been a fan of NB since seasons 1 and 2. Season 3 was digestable with the judges and some of the contestants. Judges were good minus Farah (Not a fan of some of her chorography), never liked the hosts, yes they maybe actors and decent dancers but hosting was not a strong suit. But I did pull through and watch untill some of the Jodi's were limited. (So I only watched a few episodes), and I lost interest.
When I watch these types of shows, the engery levels are high, team spirits are strong. But sadly with the recent seasons the show becomes a back page of a 'agony aunt' section. I mean seriously do I care what or who you left back home, or what injury your going through (unless its something serious and affecting you place in the competition and if you have to withdraw? Then talk. Otherwise just perform like a superstar and vote request and get on with the show. And the crying???? These arent auditions for a new indian soap! Even the judges get swayed with the sympathy and give in.
I do feel that NB 5 isnt and hasnt been on par with previous seasons. Being an overseas viewer I do feel that NB5 isnt catering to that level of platform or expectations. Like some of you have said, some episodes are like Comedy circus. And I agree and sometimes the humor is in bad taste and makes me cringe.
And whats with the hosts flirting with the judges???? (Instant turnoff).
And finally Sajid a judge for NB5, no way hosay!! I have no words on how and why is here... he belongs on a show where comedy is a core element not a dance show. His comments are very inconsistant for the teams and each week he changes.
Go figure, since I dont think hes a competent judge for NB5, and I dont like him. No wonder I dont like his movies or Farah's.
My cents!
