They are television's bad men, who for a variety of reasons, sow the seeds of hate among relatives and friends.

But it is also their negative roles that make them household names among viewers.

Character: Madan
Serial: Sangam

Famous for his piercing eyes, Shaleen Bhanot carried off his negative roles in shows like Kulavadhu and Kaajal very convincingly.

The story of Sangam is about Ganga (Jennifer Winglet), a girl who wants to fulfil her father's dream. Shaleen plays the role of Madan who thwarts her mission in life.

Madan is devoid of emotions and obsessed with the good looks of the main protagonist Ganga though he doesn't love her. Madan is a powerful man -- financially and politically. He is egoistic and believes in getting whatever he wants.
