Amrita did not lose her powers??

In last weeks episode it showed amrita's powers being taken away as the wedding ceremony was taking place. But she is still able to turn into naag roop! Why is that?? Naagdev said she will become a normal women/naaagin didnt he? Why does she still have powers to transform into snake? Also does that mean that she has to turn into snake every 24 hrs or she will die?
