| Manini Dey enters Naaginn |
| anini De made an entry in Naaginn - Waadon Ki Agnipariksha as a crystal-ball gazer. "Actually she's a con-woman," informs Manini who will be seen on a show after a considerable gap. "That's because I believe in quality work and not quantity" says the actress who's just completed the shoot for 9X's comedy Dhak Dhak In Dubai. The fact that Naaginn is a mythical serial fascinated her. "I have done a one-off episode on Aahat but this is the first time I am experimenting with this genre," she smiles. Her character is supposed to con people but she herself is in for a surprise when some of her predictions come true. "That's when I realise I am blessed with powers," reveals Manini who rates Aroona Irani as a very good producer, "who knows her subject well." Manini is also biding time to get a good film offer after her outings in Krrish, Saade Saath Phere and Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II. "There was this film I was doing for T-Series but something happened at the creative level and it couldn't take -off," she sighs. |
