23rd August Written Update

• Amrita attacks Masa
• Masa rushes to the hospital
• Chandra Mukhda wears of
• Naagrani traps Amrita

Amrita use her powers to knock down Masa and in her snake form, bites her on the foot as Masa screams in pain.

Amrita watches Masa who says that if she had known she was an ichadaari naagin, the she [Masa] would never have got her married to Arjun. She adds that she will never forgive Amrita for her betrayel - - Masa loses consciousness. Naagrani is happy with Amrita but thinks that she should send them both back to Singh house before anyone gets suspicious.

Naagrani returns Amrita and Masa to Masa's room before heading towards where the family is having dinner. S he sues her powers on Ratna who suddenly starts to worry for Masa and goes to check on her. She knocks on the door but when it doesn't open, Ratna panics and calls the rest of the family. The men knock down the door seconds after Amrita escapes through the window in snake form. The family are stunned to see Masa's state and rush her to the hospital.

Hospital…

Naagrani appears out of sight and smiles at the family's distress. The doctor comes out and tells them that Masa has been bitten by a snake – the family, especially Rudra and Kanak, are shocked – but despite their best efforts, Masa is not responsing to medication. Naagrani smiles to herself and thinks that this is because she won't allow it.

Naag Lok…

Naagrani happily tells Naag Dev that Amrita will soon be back where she belongs and orders the naagins to sit up a grand welcome for her daughter. Everyone leaves and Naagdev asks her if she is sure Amrita will return after he hears what he has done. Naagrani replies that she is and Trivern's death is as imminent as Amrita's return to Naag Lok. She shows him the image of the doctors trying to revive Masa.

Hospital…

Kanak is distressed and wonders who could have bit Masa. Rudra replies that there is only one enemy of the family and that is Amrita. At first Kanak is confused but then gets a determined look on her face as she says that if Amrita is responsible then she will surely pay for her deeds. She starts to go and help Masa but Rudra stops her and tells her not to be foolish and that only Amrita can save Masa but she will not do this. Kanak is determined to convince Amrita.

She heads to the waiting area where Amrita [chothi naagin] is sitting calmly – still under the influence of the Chandra Mukhda. Kanak looks at her angrily and tells her to save Masa. Amrita turns in to her snake form and Kanak follows suit – both naagins use their powers against each other but Amrita leaves and Kanak wonders who will help her now.

Mandir…

The Singh family prays to Sai Nath as Masa lays in hospital. As the pandit blesses Amrita, the effects of Chandra Mukhda starts to fade and a stricken Amrita remembers harming Masa. Worried she slips out of the mandir and rushes to the hospital where she tearfully apologises to Masa's still form and says that even though she did his unintentionally, she will save Masa. She uses her powers but is unable to revive her. Realising that the mani is blocking her, Amrita heads to Naag Lok to get the mani.

Naag Lok…

Amrita [Chothi Naagin] strides in and glares at Naagrani who calmly welcomes her, saying that she knew her love would bring Amrita back. Amrita retorts that she [Naagrani] doesn't know a thing about love and adds that she is only here for the mani so that she can save Masa. Naagrani is upset that Amrita holds strangers more dear than her own and refuses to give the mani.

Amrita replies that she will get the mani at any cost but Naagrani traps her. Amrita yells that she is not doing the right thing but unperturbed, Naagrani binds Amrita's arms using her powers. Amrita weeps and says that she has to go back to her family and her husband. She begs the Naagrani to let her go.
