To be honest I think desh prem or Bhai prem bas ek bahana or one of the reason hai but main reason is he is attracted toward pratha for real(tose naina song) he is just confused about his feelings for reem. He do think he loves her(childhood sweethearts ) and can't really accept his growing feelings for Pratha. ISS liye inta intense hate hai. If she uses her Naagin powers on him and pushes him from not touching her phir romance kaise milega show mein😆 may be that's why they made her to behave like previous wali Pratha infront of Rishab 😆
On a serious note, Pratha knew that Rishab doubts her. So she can't behave stubborn after their marriage all of a sudden which might raise more doubts. For time being she might act innocent and helpless infront of him
