The number(2.1) is good.

But the thing is this season created a lot of buzz with the BB announcement(promotion) n casting of Tejaswwi who being the winner has lot of buzz & fan following around her right now ,

so I feel if we see that angle, i expected it to b higher.

Even the promos were airing from Jan.

ALL of the previous seasons had better opening trp though the cast was choosen normally.So it's nothing exceptional(telling this as I saw few comments on other platforms boasting of fan power)

And voot n online presence was there previously too.

1st promo featuring Teju came after BB finale. From 1st Feb. That was before 12 days from premier episode

Bro fans toh sabke hi thode overenthusiastic ho jaate hain lol, few were even saying ki it's gonna cross 4+ TRP mark. 😆 But realistically speaking, (seeing the current scenario of Colors viewership & shift to online platforms of TV audience after pandemic) it's pretty obvious that apart from some SP shows, all channels have been suffering trp-wise, be it weekday or weekend shows. No shows are touching even the 3+ mark consistently anymore except Anupama, jo desh ki har Maa dekhti hai 😆

Hence I personally don't think it's fair to compare this season's numbers with past seasons. Rather we should compare it with other ongoing shows, both on colors & those on same time-slot on other channels, to gauge a more accurate picture. And yes, it's true eventually It's gonna depend on how it goes in coming weeks only. Let's see tab. 👍🏼

Ya fans sometimes r too over enthu😆 I mean rejoicing for ur fav is good 👍🏼but at the eod it's team work not a single person fan power ( I believe)

Yes 4+ is quite difficult nowadays.

Ppl have started to reject the melodramatic theme of itv n moved online.

Comparison lekin kinda inevitable as it's same franchise, so chahe fds ho ya even neutral audience I feel comparison factor rahega.

S1,2,3 were another level n even concept was fresh that time but I feel S4,5 se toh hoga thoda bahut as during that time also online audience base ban chuka tha.

In this term I think it's doing good.

True, being compared with past seasons is inevitable at the end of the day. But it's still too early to say anything I feel. Dekhte hain how they continue with the same momentum, I think it's pretty important they maintain this 2+ range only and don't go too down too soon like Ranveer's Big Picture or Hunarbaaz has.

And yes, as magicworld said on pg1, the overall charm of Naagin has reduced over time. Naagin ki toh phir bhi 6th installment hai, baki franchises ke toh season 2 bhi workout nai kar paate lol 😆 See Balika Vadhu, Sarabhai v Sarabhai or even IPKKND s2 & s3 (god I loved S1 soooo much!!)

Ipk2 was not a flop.it was a hit in the evening slot.its just that it wasn't as successful as the s1 prime time classic.
