Been a Naagin series fan, since forever and let me say this was quite a "different" and "interesting" start.

As to how Makers will rope in Covid remains to be seen but I quite liked the parallel tracks of Namit's Professor & Mahek's Naagin character and Teja & Simba's track. 😳

Gotta say Ritesh's character who plays Simba's character Rishi's brother is quite funny.πŸ˜†

I agree, it was interesting. I hope they don’t mess it up

I also liked that the Teja-Simba track has been kept quite natural and not too OTT. That's a good way to start. Let's see what happens tomorrow

Yea I liked the start too! Acting wise everyone was pretty good actually. Personally speaking I loved Teja's scenes the most tbh. ❀️ Mahek's entry was good too. I think it's pretty clear that she isn't the Sarvashreshta Shesh Nagin as her color is blue and the title card shows a golden nagin. Enjoyed Rishab Gujral's younger brother's character too, I like the actor, he's fun.

But the editing and transitions seemed a bit choppy to me idk. Like too much going on at once. Everything happening in fast forward, too loud background music. They could've fleshed out some things a bit smoothly, could've given some time to each character to develop or their story or bg or something idk.

Still overall I enjoyed the epi! Gonna wait patiently to see how Ekta merges the real and supernatural. Also I didn't like the "Chingistan" moment at all in the epi but dekhte hain... Hopefully they deal with things sensitively and don't go too overboard.

Yh for a naagin intro, there was a lot of information. Lot of Easter eggs. But if the makers can keep referencing back to bits and pieces in the first episode and make it a harmonious track, it might actually be sustainably good for the episodes.

About Mahek, the moment I saw she was a blue naagin I was sure she is definitely not our Sheshnaagin. Also, Urvashi & Sudha both have played negative leads in past so will be interesting to see how they tie up in the story.

The first episode was intresting. Teja simba scenes were okayish. Let's see how they unveil Teja being the Naagin & Teja discovering herself to have special powers & be the Naagin as right now she is shown as human being.
