Characters are often badly written, but I've seen actors trying to act even when they're not particularly good actors and they've got abysmally written characters .

Arjun and Kinshuk acted their best in Naagin that's why they're being praised.

And Arjun can definitely play a grey role even if he has a cute face.

Which your KV hasn't been able to show through the length of this season as of yet.
