There are lot of different type of contracts actors sign for shows
Some actors sign for the duration of the show, some actors sign for a specific time span, some actors sign for number of shows.
But Star Plus is known for signing their leads into exclusivity contract and probably allowed Arjun to make miniscule appearance on Naagin 2 because they wanted to build rapport with EK
Arjun's comeback in Naagin 3 rumours have been started to float around April-May when the fact that KVB has been rejected by audience became really clear to the Colors team.
And at that same time , the rumours of Pardes going off air started to float.
Rare coincidence 😆
I even heard Star Plus closed down Pardes coz EK wanted to move AB to Naagin 3 and make Rehaan the lead, but again, these are all speculations.
EK never planned to bring back AB in Naagin series except for those teeny weeny camoes .
Plus Star Plus is really SUPER sensitive about their actors after Rohan Mehra kicked Yeh Rishta to participate in Bigg Boss.
Plus since he was the main lead in Naagin, probably EK had managed to pacify Star to let him shoot for Naagin 2 briefly.
And this contract thing isn't even confirmed.
This is one of those speculations that are floating right now regarding AB's uncertain comeback to Naagin 3.
The real reason is only known by top executives of respective channels and Balaji telefilms
Plus this Colors vs Star Plus cold war has been going on since a long time.
Colors have stolen and attempted to steal a hell lot of SP actors.
And not just newbies, Star Plus have signed exclusive contracts with established actors like Sanjeeda Sheikh for her latest show Love Ka Hai Intezaar.
Recently, Nakuul Mehta had to leave IGT because he had an exclusivity Contract with star plus .
Already Star and Balaji are in loggerheads because of this Pardes thingie .
Even if the rumours of AB's exclusive contract with SP isn't true, SP will try hard to ruin Naagin 3 regardless Arjun is there or not.
But then, I'm not the best person to talk about this because I don't directly mingle in this industry.
But I do know about these backstabbing and interchannel fights.

Yeah, looks like Mouni might continue in Naagin 3.
Those sports drama films with big stars aren't enough for her to make dent in the BW .
It's better to stick to TV.😆
