I heard Mohit doesn't want to do mythos or historicals anymore...he wants to do a modern show.

Apart from Mohit, I think aham sharma would've done justice to the role of Lord Shiva.

Even shaheer would be a better shiva.

Don't mind, but sourabh is too cutesy too play Lord Shiva...

I'm waiting for the show to come so that I can see him,but I too think he wouldn't do proper justice to the rule.

We've always seen him as the calm Vishnu and diplomatic Krishna...he just lacks the destructive dynamism that Mohit showed.

Even the shani shiva is too bad.

But the lead is too good.

And if colors slot it in the weekend slot, then they'll be losing it.

Indian people lose interest after a season or 3.

And adi shakti have a vast library...I think mahakali should be a daily show instead.

I am happy to see mohit in mordern era show...i can imagine him playing a businessman cum lover...wearing formal suits and growing light stubble...intense and passionate role is just perfect for him...i will not miss the show..

I agree with Mages Mouni & Sonarika did fantastic job as Sati & Parvati!!!Sonarika is a divine beauty but the impact of Mouni as Sati nd her pairing with Mohit was so apt that I was for sometime not able to connect with Sonarika but then she did awesome job.. especially during Marriage track nd Mahakali track, she gives u Goosebumps!!!!!And with respect to new Mahakali I am also not sure of Saurabh dng Lord Shiva...Mohit obviously will be number one choice but then he might fear Being stereotyped!!!!Becoz specially with mythos nd historicals the pblm is we tend to compare the actor with that Mytho/Historical role nd we wont accept them that easily in another role!!!Even now if Mohit does smthg modern it takes tym for audience to accept him!!!I didn't see Ashoka so can't comment...Mouni was as Sati for short time nd then came Naagin...But I think it's better if she leaves Naagin franchise now...she is being typecasted same role for two seasons nd one more it wont look good!!

I don't think mouni would do good in modern roles...

I had seen few episodes of junoon where she played the female lead.

Well, the show was about the hate story of two opposite individuals turning to love.

Well, the FL and the ML was supposed to have equal weightage, but mouni failed at her job so the makers had no option but to give more importance to aditya redij's character, and she kind of became a doormat.

Now, in Dkdm and naagin 1, she was backed by strong supporting casts like Arjun and Adaa, so her lack of expressions passed the test.

But in S2, she had to pull the show alone. Her character was extremely badly written, adding to her already lack of facial expressions problem.

That was the reason of the show's failure from the beginning.

Nobody could relate to the thought process of shivangi.

Plus, the male lead is also equally bad at his job so that just added to the woes.

But yeah,it's hard to imagine anybody else as shivanya because she played the role to T.

Even till her last breath, mouni as shivanya rocked the screen.

Can we same about shivangi? No.

But yeah, the revenge track was thousand times more intriguing than the latest track.

Do you know what's more boring than the fact that RoShiv are rival snakes from opposing clans?

Their past life love story.

@Luna99...I stopped watching Naagin-2 the moment Rudra's exit news floated...I was very disappointed with EK for that...S2 surely lacked d charm from.beginning itself but what a little bit chirpy nd intriguing was Rudra...with his exit there was nthg much left...Adaa too can't save this season becoz she has limited screen space that too to do comedy with Sudha Chandran and she nailed it too as far as I know!!!!KVB is one hell of a actor but I don't know what went wrong with his character in this show...It never appealed nd whenever RoShiv appears on screen I was unable to connect like that happened with RiVanya or DraShiv...And this new story is just to xtend the boredom!!!I am least interested!!
