1. shesh naag belongs to lord vishnu. lord vishnu was shown in all his pictures with sheshnag.. they are prime devotee of vishnu.

2. takshak snakes are prime devotee of shiva. takshak clan was about to destroyed by arjun and lord krishna. so they are kind of evil. they tried to kill arjun in maha bharat due to their rivalry and got succeded too but arjun got revised by his wife which was also a snake woman.

3. naag naagins exist in our myth too.

our culture is enriched with stories of naag naagins . these are very few things. takshak and shesh naag belongs to same mother i am sure most of forum members aware about this fact...

yes takshak n seshanag belongs to mother kadruva wife of kasyapa right 😳 kadruva asked favour from her nag children to win game on her Sautan vinatha who is mother of garuda ...

in the game to say cheating purpose. which is ofcourse a curse received for vinatha from her first son is u became "servant" to kadruva for ur eager n jealousy I lost my full formation of body. no legs for me. so deserve this curse "

that coiled ucchaysrava horse tail which at distance looked as white horse n black tail 😆 vinatha defeated n served so many years for kadruva n her nag children. after taking birth garuda too did a period n he released mother from that curse 😳 .

Isnt that aruna son of vinatha who had cursed his own mother for letting him out of egg in hasty. And so because of her curse only vinatha served kadruva as a slave upto the birth of her second son garuda.

And out of 1000 sons of kadruva only we know vasuki, seshnaag and takshak.

yup Pavani 😳 I forget the name not Aruna Its Anuna something like which denotes meaning of improper body formation. the son himself named for him 😳 .

yes only few nag names out because of their importance on mytho stories out of 1000 nags..

I think it's "karkotak" nag who helped mother kadruva in that plan. my doubt Is it alone done or takshak too involved 😆 .

I too dont remember their names. But i think its takshak coz he was the one saved from sarpayagna.

Coz those who didnt obey kadruva to coil around horse tail were cursed by kadruva to be burned in janamejaya's sarpayagna.
