paridhi deep meaning and straight meaning there is vast difference for us who read authentic versions 👍🏼 not for everyone dear 😳 ..every line and every phase gives different set of meanings according to the situation and story in mythology 😃 all are interconnected with several joints 😃 even a single thing a single word to be observed in different meaning in different places 👏 is it possible to understand by normal reading 😛 to say random reading 😃 😃 ..

I have provided the Sloka number above. It is 1.18.2.
Now those who are in confusion, can easily open the actual book and see. 😉

It sounds so hilarious when people confidently assume that they're the only ones on Planet who have read authentic versions of mythology.

Talking about 'reading authentic sources'. 😆😆😆

There is nothing called 'authentic' source when it comes to Hindu mythology. The same story has 10000 versions according to author and timeline.

Shiva Puran describes Kali as having originated from Parvati's genes, but Devi Mahatyam says otherwise.

There is no mention of Brahma as Sarasvati's father in the Rigveda, the most ancient Holy Book of Hinduism, but Vishnu prana describes her as the daughter of Brahma.

These two examples are among those 1000s which go to show that there is nothing called 'authentic origin story' in Hinduism.

But of course, people with limited knowledge claim to know anything and everything. 🤣 So typical. Talking about 'authentic' sources in Hinduism, which ironically display the limitations of their reading and knowledge. 😆

Paridhi, what do you think may have been the intention in describing Takshaka as a 'snake bird'? I see no need for it within the context in which it was cited.

You need to first understand that there's nothing called 'true' or 'authentic' in Hindu epic and mythology. This is the first baby step which you need to take in case you wish to gain a true understanding of our vast treasure trove of mythology and rich culture.

Have you read even one mandal of Rig Veda? Have you read Devi Mahtyam?

To answer your question, Saraswati has no father if you go by the Vedas. In the Puranas which came mostly during the Gupta age, Saraswati was Brahma's daughter who he married later.
