Chandu, the bong version called yoddha is a remake . It has our superstar actor dev playing ram charan's role.
I really don't like bahubali-so it's very hard nowadays for me to digest those historicals .
Previous shows like prc and cgm were free of bahubali influenced and so I used to like them a lot.

That's right. It's hard for people to criticize bahubali.
But this tv serialwalas try to copy it and then fails.
So it looks like comedy circus.

We're dealing with mytholiogical creatures here. 😆. So it's completely useless to argue whether they exist 'in real' or not.
Even Kaliya Nag and Vasuki nag don't exist in real, do they? 🤣

Paridhi, I was talking about the mention of flying snakes in Hindu mythology. Srimadbhagbat and Bhagavatam Puran are definitely included with 'mythological' sources, right?

Anybody who needs 'authentic' and 'offline' copies of the Bhagavata Puran can simply put down their residential address, I'll be most happy to mail them a copy. 😆 You could see with your own eyes then.
Or try taking the short cut and buying a couple of copies. 😉 Read up paragraphs on 'the flying snake' with your own eyes, that'd be so much better. 😛

And no, I don't refer to Wikipedia as some people are so confidently asserting. I referred to a site which contained a few shlokas and suktas (as Paridhi said) about the flying prowess of Takshak snakes. I can still post them here if they insist. 😆

now i got your point dear... actually. our shlok have a very deep meaning for every phrase. u are talking about the straight meaning of it... our literature is very deep. with that phrase they show some other quality of takshak snakes. i need to take brief look for that... but dear in our shlok even mahadev was addressed as mahakaal... so what u want to say about that... 😆😆

There is a confusion between Yama and Shiva when it comes to addressing them as 'Mahakaal' or 'Kaal'.
Actually, Paridhi, our mythology and epics have several conflicting origin stories and accounts.

For e.g. according to original sources, Krishna had left Vrindavan at the age of 11; but then, in latter sources, he was said to have romanced Radha in teenage in Vraindavan.

Then take the case of Kali. Brahmavaivarta Purana says that Kali and Krishna were created of the same seed; while in Devi Mahatyam, she is described as originating from Vishnu's body while he slept.

Apart from the multiple layers of meaning and interpretation, even the most straightforward citations of facts and lineage come into conflict with each other in various mythological sources.

In the Bhagavat Puran, verse 1.18.2 describes that Raja Parikshit would be attacked by a 'snake-bird', whose bit would cause death.
Here's the Sanskrit verse as well as the translated version.

brahma-kopotthitd yas tu
takakt pra-viplavt
na sammumohorubhayd
bhagavaty arpitaya

"Furthermore, Mahrja Parksit was always consciously surrendered to the Personality of Godhead, and therefore he was neither afraid nor overwhelmed by fear due to a snake-bird which was to bite him because of the fury of a brhmana boy"

The sloka, as you see, directly mentions 'Takakt' or 'takshaka'.
