KVB's look as Naag - Page 5

Now , that's a safe decision, considering that Rudra naag enjoyed high popularity .

So as mara said , cvs turned rocky into a snake and are now superficially thinking that this will get the lost viewers back who've been bored by human-naagin relationship and will watch for the love story of two naags.

Though this romeo Juliet inspired story of 2 naags from rival clans in love is a brilliant idea in paper, in reality it might not translate into the huge ratings the makers are hoping for.

The twist came very late in the story and the damage has been already done .

True, kvb is best when he portrays grey shades. But rocky is already a hated character, and most of the naagin viewers watch it for the villains and the drama.

New villains like mahendra pratap singh, tanya's parents are nothing close to mahesh or avantika.

Plus, they had already shown rocky's grey shades numerous times before I guess.

But even that time it didn't really improve the storyline.

Plus kvb's acting in this show is really like bleh.

I'm his diehard fan, but as a girl who likes to call spade a spade, it's truly ordinary in comparison to his acting even in qubool hai.

In qubool hai also, aahil was kinda boring but it was kvb's acting that made aahil the guy qh fans love.

As I told you before, making rocky a Naag isn't going to bring back those ratings they lost when rudra was killed .

Audience fall in love with a character, whether he's a naag or a human doesn't matter.

Rocky's already a pet peeve of many fans of Naagin.

And his turning into a naag has met with not so enthuastic response at least in this forum.

I mean, making rocky naag is the lamest excuse possible ever .

It does not make his character even a bit interesting.

I'm just wishing rocky turns completely negative and rudra is introduced once again.

That would've improved the ratings of the show.

I also think they could've turned rocky into a vampire.

Bats can function as enemies of snake, plus kvb would do a very good job playing count dracula.

Its but obvious that turning Rocky into a naag was their last desperate resort to make him interesting and to make people excited for Romeo-Juliet esque lovestory with naag-naagin. Sadly it seems to have backfired because all I am witnessing is people laughing on the twist. The only way they can save this almost sunk boat is by turning Rocky into an irreversible evil villain.

Mara, I think the best possible idea, even better than bringing back rudra, was to give Rocky a plastic surgery and bring another , good looking actor.

Umm, krystal, I don't wanna fight with you but I've reviewed all the rocky fanbases till now on all social media sites.

Fans of rocky are mostly his fans from his earlier shows.

And those are his fans from this show are the girls who would prince narula over raghu ram.

Now the question is, has kvb be able to win fans from Naagin 2?

Of course, he has succeeded. But they are the girls who belong to the above mentioned categories and/or people who are generally pretentious about supporting an actor just coz he's the male lead of the show.

They are his fans because he's the hero of this show.

Not because his characterisation is out of the world.

Now, let's come to arjun.

Before arjun, we heard the names of mrunal jain and kinshuk mahajan being considered for playing the lead.

Now when arjun entered, I was a little disappointed coz my fave couldn't get a chance .

Also I really don't like shikhar mehra so it added to the annoyance.

But I decided to give the show a chance .

Arjun won over a humongous amount of fans.

I finally saw that well , shikhar mehra actually can act.

Now, let's come to kvb.

Well, a hell lot of male leads have nothing to do with the content of the show.

If you blame the bad writing of the show, then blame it.

But if you blame the bad writing as a reason for kvb's underperformance, then let me remind you, rudra(our favourite) himself had a very questionable entry and backstory .

But he wowed us from the starting to finishing of his role.

He died like a hero.

And in recent past, kvb had the opportunity to act a lot.

But he couldn't prove himself.

Do you know, that the 1st chance you get is the last chance you get?

KVB has been getting more chances than he should've got.

It's only some episodes into the leap and his acting actually have turned off many viewers.

Oh, I've to mention sesha. Despite being given stepmotherly treatment in terms of characterisation, this character remains a fan favourite.

It's adaa's acting that is getting her love till now.

An actor have to do great acting with whatever role they can.

Ps: I've talked with some sane naagin fans who are not acquainted with kvb before this show.

All of them had said rocky hasn't been able to convince them.

And talking about rocky not getting spotlight, as an actor, you've to perform best in whatever screen time you get.
