@luna...KV is already a popular actor...he doesn't need a naagin to gain popularity...he have done more established shows than Naagin...KZK...Khusum...KGGK...which are far more popular than any Naagin and the character Prem is still iconic...both Naagins are not even near the trps that KSBKBT...KTH..KZK..KGGK collected though i do agree times are changed...if Naagin was a daily soap rather than a finite...it would fizzle out in trps...its lucky that it airs on weekends when there is nothing to be seen in weekends...furthermore the trps counted for weekend shows are very different from daily shows...its more compared to daily shows...which airs for 6 days...

they did not select the wrong guy...they did select the right guy for S2...its just that they did not write a proper character for this amazing actor...even if another actor have done rocky's role...he is equally a dumb character...becos the character itself is so weak and crappy...i wonder how KV agrees for this role...

I read in one IV of EK...Ritik's character was first offered to KV but though he badly wanted to do it...he could not do it due to his other commitments...and the channel couldn't wait thus her next choice was arjun...who was doing MATH at that time...she made slight changes in Ritik to suit arjun's persona...she wrote Ritik keeping KV in mind and it was more of intense character which is KV's style but than since KV couldn't do it...the role went to arjun...she re-write Ritik's character and instead of intensity...she made him witty...which was the highlight of S1...i don't know abt KM...many claims the role went to KM too but in this interview she only talked abt KV and arjun...maybe becos both are the ML...when S1 came on air...noone knows S2 was in pipeline...the 2nd time...EK went to KV and he agrees to do it...he didn't even read the role...EK just narrates to him briefly...since he loved the concept and couldn't do S1...he agrees to do S2...

I wish for once he read the role...which he normally does...

I would rather prefer to see kv-mouni in a new show rather than Naagin series...S2 neither did justice to KV presence nor kv-mouni chemistry...as the whole focus on revenge...i wish he never did S2 at all...

Naagin has fizzle out for me...S3 is out of my mind...after S2...no more Naagin for me...just read updates even if that bores me...i will not read further

Someone mention abt re-incarnation of Rivanya...well thats a good idea...a good concept...but knowing EK she will not do justice to the concept...Kasam is a concept of re-incarnation and she totally fails the concept...

if arjun is indeed coming back...than the best option create a naag-naagin love story...or if not arjun...any other good actor...it would be good to see a naag-naagin love story...something new n fresh

Even I would be interested to see a reincarnation theme in Naagin Season 3 when it materializes. 😊 As for Mouni and Adaa, I would prefer to see them in the 3rd Season 😳, but with fresh new roles and have all new cast around them ⭐️, - no Yamini, no Rithik or Rocky, no Anky or Anky 2 🤢, - and a new and interesting story which could take place 100 years in the future. 👍🏼 Personally, I would like Season 3 to be more like a supernatural horror thriller type story, something totally different from the first 2 seasons. 😃

Kvb probably took the role in naagin because he thought being in naagin would give him more popularity since it is already an established show.
But I also think rocky is a poorly written character but they have got absolutely the wrong guy.
@Mages, chandrakanta is a epic fantasy tale about how a damsel in distress falls in love with a prince from a rival kingdom. I can't say much because the book is in hindi and I have not watch any of the shows. If you can read hindi, please read the book because non of the tv shows can convey the story properly. It is actually a love story with espionage and sci fi, but they made it a supernatural show which is the flavour of the season.I don't think ekta will make the show based on the book.
She will make a rotten version of the neerja guleri show on dd. And even that show was disputed because of the extreme creative liberties taken. So don't watch any of the chandrakanta tv shows without reading the book and even if you watch, don't think that's authentic because then, ekta made yhm based on custody book and having read that, the book is thousand times better than the rotten thing running on tv.
I will sure she will do this here too.
Chandrakanta is a dignified princess. But ekta will make her sunny Leone.
Believe me, the show will be a waste of time. Instead showing the beauty of the story and it's characters, it will be a mockery.
But yeah, it will take its inspiration from the dd show.
But even that was a mockery.
Madhurima tuli is playing chandrakanta and whatever I think after researching about that character, madhurima is not a very good fit.
And urvashi dholakia is only there to increase the viewer interest because none of the other confirmed casts are interesting.

@bold: You are right. The popularity of S1 brought in a lot of attention to ArNi and even took them to IIFA where they met and performed in the midst of Bollywood biggies. Why wouldn't someone hope for the same and agree to do S2 even though the story and character was not as well written. And as we can see..the TRP's are still good..but unfortunately the season did not garner that much of an attention. It's quite thanda compared to the fandom of S1; online and in real life.

If it's reincarnation of Rivanya then obviously Ritik will be mentioned or will be reincarnated. They are the only couple so far who were hinted with about reincarnation in S1.

I don't know what the f**kery ekta will do in naagin 3 but it will be the same ma-baba ka revenge. That I am pretty sure.

And they are finally increasing kvb's role in the upcoming track.

@Mages: I said that kvb is bad for the current rocky role.

Surely, they could have written the role better for him, the current situation needs a poorer actor.

And naagin as a franchise is light hearted watch on the weekends.

The ones who are hoping that the show will become supernatural horror thriller type, I am sorry to break the bubble but aisa is desh pe nahi hota.

Ek bar ek formula kam aajaye, to chalega till the end of the world.

And yes, naagin will fizzle out faster than daily soaps because they are repeating the same thing rather than do differently.

Unlike daily soaps which can take their stories farther, naagin franchise repeats its storyline season after season.

So hopefully, it will shutdown after season 4 because by that time, nearly everyone will have watched it and know the basic plotline.

They will be also tired to see mouni roy.

(Honestly, she is a good actress, I love and respect her but it is very tiring to see her trapped in this Naagin mess)

what is this naagin crap is all abt...noone is dying at all...everyone comes back bloody alive...its annoying...when are they going to die...are they immortals...Rivanya died...but this idiots are not dying at all...

Yamini is not dead...she is definitely bringing takshikha n sesha alive...

what the hell is rocky's mystery...Roshiv consummates their marriage and she did not loose her powers...who is he?...is it even a human?...by the way Roshiv consummation was beautifully shot...there was so much ease n comfort level b/w the two shooting such intimate scenes and mouni looks extremely gorgeous...

another round of ichadari creatures coming in and their target is rocky...seriously i watched for fun but never thought i am watching a bloody crap

the only thing i liked...our brainless hero thought by consummating with shivangi...she will loose her powers but its a slap on his face...she did not loose her powers infact i guess due to consummation she is more powerful now...his stupid plans failed again...

so what in S3...annoying leeches coming back alive...it seems like rocky is not a normal human...Roshiv has consummate their marriage..the next Roshiv daughter being born with supernatural powers...and the revenge crap n naagmani chase continues...

from yesterday epi...it does hint...S3 will be continuation of S2...none of the main vamps died n we have a addition takshikha in the group as replacement of avantika...the next track is abt rocky's mystery and he has some connection with snakes...Roshiv consummates their marriage...but shivangi did not loose her powers like shivanya did...in the precap they showed her shape-shifting...which means she never loose her powers...furthermore when Rivanya consummation happened there was SN in the picture who appeared n punished shivanya but for Roshiv...he did not appear at all...neither shivangi was punished nor rocky...thats a mystery...

so S3 is a continuation of S2...just like arjun in S2 did a cameo...kv might do a cameo for one epi and his role ends...the rest will be continued with the new cast with the main trio and vindhya joining the group...

its not going to be any new story...its continuation...either by shivangi or roshiv's daughter...

Yep..its going to be a continuation, but I think rocky is also a supernatural creature.

Kvb would totally rock the look of a vampire.

I wanna say, I really don't have any problem by mouni roy playing her daughter again but the storyline definitely needs to have innovation which is lacking in S2.

Going by EK's track record, the same shit may happen with another guy as lead.

Colors people want bring back arjun cause kvb is not widely accepted in the fandom.

But he's not coming back probably, so they might take other people like harshad chopra, basically any other guy.

And they should have ended S2 last night.

I am still hopeful naagin craze will stop a bit when S2 ends because its too laughable nowadays.

And I hate whenever they give kvb screen time.

I was a big fan of this guy in qubool hai.
