Actually, the decision of casting kvb was wrong . Kingshuk mahajan fits his character. I was not that much sad when I heard arjun bijlani going out, rather than I was sad when I heard kvb is replacing him. He is a fine and charismatic actor, but don't fit his part.

I don't think ekta will push mouni roy out of the show and ruin her own hard won money.

Heroine replacement has never worked properly in indian tv and especially for ekta kapoor shows. Kyunki's trps fell drastically after smriti irani left and jodha akbar's trps fell every time they focused on salim and anarkali.

So whatever the channel thinks, ekta will only toy with heroine removal if season 3 with the existing cast does not work.

And even if there is a new Naagin in S3, mouni roy would be there to set in motion the show and be an important part of that show until people are ready to accept her successor.

And adaa khan will probably play a part in S3. Vamp removal is even more tougher.

I think in S3, sesha will be the main villain since she was already turned into stone and that will set the tone for S3. Rudra might play a part and rocky might be villain(i am saying this keeping that shivangi will appear in S3 in mind).

If they restart the same old shit of naags marrying humans, then won't watch.

They are not taking the story forward, instead running around same loop again and again. Is the writers trapped in a maze?

If ekta is going to retain mouni to set the stage for the new female lead then its fine but otherwise making her play the same role over and over again would harm the show more than do it any good. I mean everyone knows what naagin is about and its plot so why will they want to watch the repeat for the third time again. Its better they get a new naagin. And this is a fantasy show so you can't really predict if the replacement will work or not work. If they end this season's story without any lose ends then it would work for example punar vivah where the first season had kratika and gurmeet while the second season starred karan v grover, parul chauhan and srishti rode. It worked there didn't it? Why because season 1 story had ended and there was no reason to continue with the old cast anymore hence allowing them to come up with a new story different from the earlier one for its new cast.

Maybe in season 3 the naagin instead of avenging her parents can avenge her lover like in jaani Cushman ek anokhi kahaani where male serpent's lover dies and is born again as human with a twist where he is doesn't recognise her or doesn't believe she is the same person minus her dying. I dont know what they'll do with the naagmani though.
