we don't find his crazy humanity angle anywhere. he saved her just to prove his innocence n eats much time with confrontation. can't he think other than crazy lover a normal person once .where is the character growth. why can't he investigate who the hell trying to kill shivu. a simple following of the masked person to catch who are there to do like tht. instead of doing a simple thing like trying to findout the persons who trying to kill the person who claims he loves crazy. but no he simply came home to sulk. wat if another comes to kill her..
i don't think its weird though...he knows shivangi wants to kill him...yet he saves her...its humanity...you won't let someone die just like that and he is a human not a ichadari prani...he was the person who saved the old lady life too in that accident...brought her to the hospital...pays all the bills...when he can saves the life of a stranger for an accident in which he did not even do it...here his wife is in danger and he knows she wants to kill him...he still saved her...thats humanity...its in his nature...this is not the first time he saved shivangi...he saved shivangi even before she was a naagin...if its sushant..romil...aaliya...avni...he would have done the same...its humanity...so there is nothing fishy abt it...well its my pov...thats what i see at the moment...in my eyes...it was humanity...in later stages if he turns negative or grey...thats another story...but at the moment...its humanity
