EK has made a slight contrast from S1 and S2...there is no rudra character in S1...the love story...revenge was connected...

but in S2 revenge is a separate track that deals with rudra...romance is a separate track that deals with rocky...there is a forbidden love story in S2...a tough union...either the leads unite or they will not...as shivangi is not bless with any boon...she is strictly not allow to fall in love with a human...thus they introduce a character like rudra for revenge and rocky oblivious abt the ichadari world...with EK..a love triangle is definitely there...EK mention in her IV..there is 2 separate tracks for S2...revenge and romance..they are focusing on the revenge now...the hurdles of romance will be explored later...by the time rudra will also fall in love with shivangi...currently the focus is on revenge and rocky the typical dumb hubby of EK...

He can't doubt his badi fake maa but can doubt Shivaangi so easily. Even S1 had hurdles in Romance because of which Shivanya got stripped off her powers and she even said that they don't have a future because if they got together one of them would definitely die. So as per this its pretty much the same.
