Episode 3 part 1

As Shivaani returned home she recalled the incident which was a pretty close call. As Shivanya and Kailash had not returned back home she began to settle in fast. As she entered her room to change she took a good look at the bracelet the stranger who saved her had dropped. The bracelet was gold plated and had a unique design as it looked like a locket that had the shape of the sun which on opening revealed a watch that appeared to be broken. She wondered if the watch got damaged while the stranger tried to save her or if it was damaged before hand. Shivaani then decides to try the watch bracelet for fun and the moment she wore it the clock hands started moving, which surprised her. As she tried to remove the watch she noticed a keyhole and realised that the watch/bracelet was now locked. Shivaani tried to slip it out of her hand to take it off but then realised that doing so could damage the piece of jewellery, so she decided to keep it on till she finds a way to get it off safely.

As Shivaani was about to change she heard the bell ring and then rushed to open the door. The moment she opened the door she hugged Shivanya who was just a about to enter. This startled Shivanya who then began to wonder if something was wrong as Shivaani kept holding on to her as if this would be their last hug. Shivanya hugged her back and then asked " What happened Shivaani? Is everything OK?"

"Yes mom, everything's fine, its just that I'm not used to staying alone at home this long without you so I just got a little worried and thought I might never get to see you again" Shivaani answered

"Why would you think that, you shouldn't worry about all this right now, let's do this, the next time we have an event at the restaurant you'll accompany me plus be assured that I would never leave you and go away" Shivanya told Shivaani

Mr. Kailash who had just come back after getting the car parked outside noticed the tensed atmosphere and asked Is everything OK, why does Shivaani look so stressed?"

"Everything's fine baba, she was actually worried about us since we came very late tonight" Shivanya answered

"Beta Shivaani how about we go for a family day out tomorrow?" Mr. Kailash asked

"Huh? Why so suddenly out of the blue?" Shivanya asked Mr. Kailash

" Our Shivaani had to spend most of the day alone so we have to make up for it by going out together tomorrow for a family day out" he answered Shivanya "so what do you say beta are we in this or not?" he asked Shivaani

After having and surviving a brush with death Shivaani didn't really feel like going anywhere but agreed to evade any further questions from escalating later " OK nanu I'm in! Where are we going though?" Shivaani asked. "where do you want to go?" Mr. Kailash answered her question with another question. Shivaani was very relieved that he asked her that as now she could choose where they would go. " How about the zoo?" shivani suggested

"Why zoo? We could go to the beach or an amusement park, why zoo of all places?" Shivanya asked

"Almost every family goes to beached or amusement park for recreational reason, so going to the zoo would be pretty amusing plus its been almost 10 years since I last visited the zoo" Shivaani explained

"Shivaani you remember what happened the last time you visited the zoo for your school field trip, I don't want to repeat that again" Shivanya objected to thought of visiting the zoo

" Mom relax that was a long time ago, I am not stupid to actually sneak into the peafowl sanctuary again after getting pecked by those things, so you don't worry, plus I'm a grown up now" Shivaani replied

"She's right Shivanya, she's a grown up girl who can look after herself let's not underestimate her now shall we" Mr. Kailash added

"See even Nanu agrees, so let's go there please!" Shivaani pleaded

" I don't know" Shivanya replied

" Come on Shivanya the child is pleading so much plus I guarantee it want be a disaster this time moreover we're there to watch over her too" Mr. Kailash reasoned

"OK then fine the zoo it is!" Shivanya finally agreed and then went to the kitchen.

"Happy now?" Mr. Kailash asked Shivaani before noticing her bracelet watch.

" Yes I am!" Shivaani replied

"Where did you get that watch from? This is the first time I'm seeing it on your wrist" Mr Kailash quizzed Shivaani which startled her

"Oh this? I got it from Ruhi" she answered "Really on what occasion?" Mr. Kailash asked making it obvious that he was not convinced by her answer

"Actually she had purchased a pair of bracelets and this is one of the pair which she gave me since we're best friends" she answered him hoping he would believe it

"hmm.. I must say your friend has made an interesting selection" he told her

"Yeah, she's always been an interesting person" she replied in a bluffing tone

"Anyways have your dinner and go to bed you'll have to rise up early tomorrow if we want to avoid traffic" Mr Kailash told Shivaani

"ofcourse! Shivaani answered and then obediently had her dinner and went to bed while thinking about the near death situation and the person who rescued her.
