Popular television actor Adaa Khan says she has been offered Bigg Boss in the past but she can never imagine being on the controversial reality show because she does not want to "hamper her mental peace." Talking about the show, she said, "I was offered Bigg Boss but I have always said it is not my cup of tea. I definitely love my own peace of mind and my inner peace and I don't want to hamper that. My family has always been anti-Bigg Boss. I like what I am doing right now and have no interest in going to Bigg Boss and be part of the madness," Adaa told indianexpres.com.

The actor is currently seen on the season two of Colors' supernatural drama Naagin. Adaa said she is enjoying playing a negative character on the series after doing a positive one on the first season.

"In Naagin season 1, I played a positive character, which turned negative towards the end but in the current season, I am playing a negative shade. So, I like experimenting with my roles. it is nice that throughout my career I have played all kinds of roles. I hope people like me in Naagin 2 as well," she said.

Adaa spoke on the sidelines of a fashion show organised as a part of Global Peace Initiative in the remembrance of 26/11 attacks victims. The 27-year-old actor, who was the showstopper, said she is glad she got this opportunity as more often than not people think she is a negative person in real life because she plays such characters onscreen.

"Many people think I can't be positive in real life. They take the characters too seriously. On screen, I might be playing a person with bad intentions but in real life I am a peace-loving person. I am calm and very different from whatever I play on television. So, this is a good opportunity to participate in a cause that promotes peace," Adaa said.

Besides Mouni Roy-starrer Naagin 2, Adaa is also seen on the second comedy roast show Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza, though in guest appearances. On the first season, which was called Comedy Nights Bachao, the actor was a series regular along with Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lehri.
