Rocky on the other hand comes off as very desperate sadly. I am going to copy paste my comment from Mouni AT.

Saw some clips on Insta. Rudra and Shivangi have more chemistry than the couple they are forcefully pushing at the viewers. I'm sorry but its been 2 months and still I see no chemistry. Mouni infact looks very uncomfortable in the close scenes. These people should just count their losses and turn Rocky into a villain, which would suit him more than this weird character he is playing. He basically has no role but to romance Shivangi for a few minutes before disappearing from the screen. At least Rudra is a partner for Shivangi like Ritik was for Shivu. 2 months in, do we even know anything about Rocky? I am asking because I have not watched the show properly since the first episode and then Shivu's tragically comic dying scene. Who is Rocky? What's his age? What's his qualification? What is his job designation? Have they ever shown him working? Or does he moon over Shivangi all day long?

From what I've seen on Insta, it's the same Jai Bholenath and Maa Baba ka revenge from S1. What's new? Suddenly Shivangi, an innocent small town girl is a huge devotee of Shivji and is murdering and plotting murder? She doesn't feel a twinge at all when killing? Yes they deserve it but still nothing at all?

Shesha and Yamini are redundant in this season. The same OTT dialogues and taunts and lust attacks and murder games. Avantika is classy and one ups these two easily. They could have done well without Shesha and Yamini in S2.

Mouni looks stunning all the time. She is one elegant lady but her sari style is so similar to Shivanya that you are unable to distinguish her as another character. Her reason for revenge is the same too.

Honestly there's nothing new in S2 at all. But there can be if they show Naag and Naagin romance and couple with Rudra-Shivangi instead of the same Naagin-Human couple of Rovangi or whatever they are called.

About Shesha Rocky. I don't really care.The show was pretty clear in saying that only Naagins with pure hearts get their love so I really doubt Rocky-Shesha will work out. About Rudra-Shesha..I hope she doesnot fall for him too. Shesha's role has already become a havas ridden puppet. If she falls for Rudra and lusts after him too then it will prove that her "love" is nothing more than a joke.

I don't want Rudra to end with someone low and soulless like Shesha, I hate her for killing Shivanya. How can she be so selfish and stone hearted. If she wants Rocky I don't mind let her have him since she is ready to go to any lengths for him including trying to kill her own sister and niece plus like you said he is a show piece only as per what the cvs have showed him so far. I have never seen a male lead so weak and stupid in a fantasy show like him before. Either the cvs this time are just lazy or they don't really want to try to improve the quality of the story. Seriously replicating the Rivanya magic does not mean you try to replicate their scenes and story as well. When I saw the first episode where Rocky instantly fell for her I accepted it as it was the same for Rithik as well but to confess your love in just 3 days, stalk the girl and then even trying to force your feelings on her inspite of knowing that she's engaged to someone else is just weird and somewhat creepy but I guess that's still fine to an extent as long as it doesn't turn into obsession. You're right Rocky would be better as a villain than the male lead here. Him romancing Shivaangi lacks the chemistry that the makers were hoping moreover he is giving shivaangi space but only to woo her once again after she heals which is one of the shittiest ways to console someone, tbh his character is a very bad excuse of a ML since its just unreal. Shivaangi was supposed to hate Rocky but that hatred is not visible as she keeps giving him the benefit of doubt like how shivanya would for Rithik but in their case it was fine but here its just strange. If I were her I woudnt be moved at all by his nice guy act even if in reality he were really innocent. Btw wasn't she supposed to target him first? If she hates him why doesn't she act according to those emotions at least it would look natural then but her holding back every now and then is whats ruining it. As far as Rudra and Shivaangi is concerned they do make a great pair and yes they seem to have better chemistry even if they currently are not in love with each other but then since Shivaangi already married Rocky I don't see a hope for the Rudra shivaangi pair because when she learns that Rocky is innocent she will definetly feel guilty and go back to him so I would really like that much unless Rocky actually turns negative but then again if Rocky is human then Shivaangi might end with Rudra, anything can happen in this show. If Shesha falls for Rudra too then like you said her love would be nothing but a joke. Either she dies or ends up with Rocky.

S1 worked on these factors so why bother to change any of it and take a risk?

Shesha is basically the shittiest character and she gets just as much respect from the other vamps. I actually saw some clip where she was lying by Yamini's feet and begging for whatever..maybe Rocky or the mani. I truly feel bad for Adaa. She is stereotyped so bad. It was the same in Amrit Manthan too. But let's not confuse Adaa with Shesha. The actress deserves love and happiness but the character? Hell no. Ever since Shesha turned loony for Ritik, her character graph has been stuck on the same lust attacks. I still don't understand her moronic instance on Shivanya stealing Ritik from her. In what effing universe? Ritik was Shivu's husband! How can a wife steal her own loving husband(who rejected and tried to kill Shesha multiple times) from the lust ridden vamp? I mean literally whenever she saw Ritik, she tried to seduce him as Shivu, even when he was throttling her, she used to make goo goo eyes at him. It was ridiculous and now it's even more ridiculous. And I am sorry but Shesha does not deserve even a second of happiness after the crimes she had committed. She killed her own sister so brutally, I felt physically sick just watching that scene and people want her to get love and happiness? Pfft. Please. She not only betrayed her sister but also her aunt who lovingly raised her like her own daughter. She needs to burn in acidic hell for eternity. BTW is it true that she boasted of killing Ritik too? And people expected this pathetic excuse of a creature to become positive and redeemed and supporting Shivangi? The one who basically killed her parents? LMAO.🤪 🤣 Oh and I think it's clear that Shesha's end is going to be a very painful death. She won't be getting any Rocky or pebbles. Unless there's a S3 to torture the viewers. 🤣

For me the love at first sight was so stupidly done, I couldn't get on board with it for Rocky-Shivangi. With Ritik and Shivu, he fell for her at first sight but he fought it and was in denial for 6-7 episodes. Ritik did not believe in love so he questioned it and tried his best to dismiss and just be Shivu's friend. He only became starry eyed when Shivu was near him but other than that, he was the same workaholic guy who was the perfect son and brother. And only when Ritik was about to get married that he realized he was in love with Shivu. With Rocky and Shivangi, it was laughable and honestly more than a little creepy. He literally went from seeing her to stalking her and obsessing over her to forcing/manhandling her to accept his feelings. TBH Shivangi was just as desperate and stupid as Rocky for falling for someone like him.

Oh really? She is giving him the benefit of the doubt even after seeing that flashback of him killing her mom? That just makes her the shittiest daughter ever. Rivanya what in world did you give birth to. Shivanya knew without a doubt that Ritik did not kill her parents, unlike that dumb Shesha who tried to claim otherwise. Ritik was 5 when Shivanya's parents were killed. He had no hand in it. He was innocent and Shivu knew that. She loved him but she kept her distance because she knew he loved her and she had no right to that love because she was using him. A part of her also was against being with Ritik because of her LOYALTY to her parents. He was supposed to be the son of the killer who killed her parents and she could not be with someone like that. By even hinting and showing Shivangi giving Rocky the benefit of the doubt, they are showing her betraying her parents and her revenge. Disgusting. They at least could have shown her getting some hint of Rocky not being one of the killers. Then she acting like this would not have been so abhorrent.

Rudra-Shivangi though, they look natural and not forced at all. If they become a couple, it will be organic. Marriage with Rocky is not a big deal. They ignored the "Sada Suhaagan" vardaan by Shivji himself for Shivu and killed off Ritik before her. A marriage by that standard is peanuts for them to shatter. Turn him evil and no one will blink if Rudra-Shivangi become THE couple. With the upcoming love triangle the story is ripe for misunderstandings and him thinking Shivangi is cheating on him to turn irrevocably evil. They can also show he has always been evil and in on the naagmani plot but pretending to be nice like they did with Yamu in S1. Honestly Rocky being evil will have a greater shock impact that Yamu being evil had in S1. Everyone expected Yamu to be evil but Rocky would be a surprise after showing him so useless and dumb. Or they can just as easily kill him. It won't make a difference to the story or the show if he is gone.

About the Sada suhaagan vardaan I'm still wondering how did the CVS forget that and when will they uncover Rithik's mysterious death. You know if the audience ends up liking Rudra more then the CVS would probably end up showing those typical signs of two people who are destined to be with each other with Rudra and Shivaangi for example in some holy ritual instead of Rocky being with Shivanya we might get to see him being pushed away unintentionally be mysterious forces and getting replaced by Rudra. Plus from what I have noticed in other sites people seem to like Rudra more than Rocky as Shivaangi's partner. I don't hate Rocky but he doesn't really match up to Shivaangi's Shivanya persona. He looks better with Adaa khan though.

If these people really want to show Romance between Rocky and Shivaangi then they should tone it down a bit and avoid shooting those close scenes as they look plain unnatural and fake. Frankly this should have been shown a little later rather than rushing to it directly in other words they should have gone slow but now its a bit late to correct that and even if they make any changes I won't find it very impressive since it would look like damage control.

You should see the comments on YouTube for the latest official naagin videos. Almost everyone prefers Rudra over Rocky. Who cares if she is married to Rocky? She isnt a sada suhagan that she has to stick to him till the end. I think CVS might make him the lead since some people are going to trend Shivaangi and Rudra as a couple.
